Plotting with 2 Cores vs 3 or 4.

I am wanting to write plots on my main PC while still having it avaialbe for daily use. I was wondering if it made any difference writting plots using 2 cores as opposed to 3 or 4 cores? I know it will take longer to plot, but will this also affect mining quality?

@Lucifer8 the more cores, the faster you'll plot - generally, do total number of cores - 1.
