Hello Burst family,
I'M will be buying 8TB Hard to add to my 6.3TB mining Power. How Should I Plot the 8TB?
-1TB per plot with 8 total files with the Grand total of 8TB.
-2TB per Plot with 4 total files with the Grand total of 8TB.
-4TB per plot with 2 total files with the Grand total of 8TB.
--8TB per plot with 1 total file with the Grand total of 8TB.Please let me know what is the best way?
Thanks,

My strategy is always plot half the drive (free space), optimize that plot then delete the non optimized plot. repeat till the drive is full.

where do I download this Optimize plot program? I don't have that yet?
Thanks,

It's in the software section.

Make sure the destination folder for the optimized plot is not being mined while its running. I create a temp folder so I can mine the original plot while the optimizer is running.

@Hotdogler If you have an appropriate GPU, you can directly plot the whole drive optimized from the outset using "gpuplotgenerator generate direct ...."

Hello Haitch,
I Don't have that setup yet but looking into getting a Desktop by the end of this year with a Powerful GUP, What would you recommend for Burstcoin Plotting and Mining?
Thanks

I'm So Happy got my 8TB External USB 3.0 and getting ready to plot right now and I will be offline from mining until I finish plotting my new toy. Maybe See you guys again in the mining world of Burstcoin in a few days from now! This Time I will have 8TB Extra mining power!!! :-)

@CesBurst1782 I use an R9-280X - works great. For CPU mining, leave one core free and your system will remain useable.
-
@haitch So your saying plot with 3 core and mine with one core? Would that work? Should I just ignore the file mismatch that I'm getting right now while plotting my 8TB while mining?!
Please Advice,

@haitch Right now with CPU mining with 3 cores, I'm getting 4673 nonces/minute. That's 3.5 TB out of 7.2TB Hard Drive. I need to plot about 14.5 millions nonces to complete the 3.5TB, and that's about 2days or so to complete... I'm connected via USB 3.0....
