[ANN] Burstcoin.party:8081 - A New Mining Pool
-
-
Hello,
I recently joined the pool. After how many blocks is the reward added to total earned?
-
Web does not load. Or theres no miners.
-
-
The pool seems to be suffering from some stats calculation error in the historic shares section.http://imgur.com/a/H55dA
-
@kokojie Thanks for the heads up. :)
-
Okay, so I joined yesterday and mined a block. However I haven't received the Burst yet.
In the Historic Shares panel it's listed as "1207Q." Any idea what this means? I know U and D but this is my first time seeing a Q.
edit: hmmm, looks like there was a fork. Or at least burstcoin.biz says I didn't mine a block after all.
-
@FlippyCakes Queued
I put in 5K of Burst into the wallet. Hopefully, that will catch things up.
-
@socalguy The pool seems to be about 5 blocks behind. Has it forked?
And thanks for the Burst. If the queued payment is in error due to a fork, let me know and I'll repay it.
-
@FlippyCakes Pool is current with the chain.
-
iv had 1197 burst in Q for quite some time now. when will pool payout?
-
I hope this clears up soon.
-
@socalguy ditto lol
-
Yeah, I'm a bit confused since I'm currently due "1375D + 3739Q." The queued Burst is made up partially of blocks I mined that survived forks in the chain and blocks that didn't survive the forks. (How these are divvied up is a mystery to me - obviously I don't expect to be paid for blocks that are overwritten.) The pool address has more than enough funds to pay (not just me, but perhaps most or all addresses listed in the History panel), so I'm not sure what the holdup is.
As a side question: Previously I mined on the NEWS asset pool for months. It was a great pool, and I never saw queued amounts owed anyone. In fact it still doesn't have any listed, even though it suffered from forks, too. Anyone know why it didn't have queued amounts?

just got my payout. thx.

Hey everyone,
First, thank you to everyone that has used my pool at http://pool.burstcoin.party:8081/ and has made money doing it. I've always taken pride in knowing that I was able to give the community a low fee option for mining on the pools.
So, it is with heavy heart and sad scream that I official give notice to the community that I will be shutting down pool.burstcoin.party:8081 this coming Friday, February 24, 2017, at around 9:00 PM PST.
It has been a wild ride and I loved every minute of it. My initial reason to create the pool was to give back to the community and create a nest egg for future projects. I really hoped the pool would create enough coins, so I can fund faucets and other things. Well, that never happened and I don't see it happening soon. :(
There are currently 32 deferred payments. My hope is by Friday, they all clear and I can close the pool without issue. If they don't, I will do my best to keep the pool up until they do clear.
Oh and for the record,
I've never deleted deferred payments. I am not planning on deleting deferred payments. I don't scam. That is just not me in real life or online.I will still be on this site and be engaging everyone when I can. It just will not be in a pool owner capacity. I will be focusing on my other love which is marketing, graphics, and other projects. I do plan to reopen the pool, but for now, I think I'm better to be utilized with doing social media and graphic type stuff for Bursts and other coins.

Got my payout as well. Thanks!
And thanks for running the pool. Sorry to see it go, though I was only in it for a few days.
-
hey, does the pool still pay out every 24 hours or it at a specific amount mined now?
-
@impulse Still every 24 hours or when you've earned 300 Burst.
-
