Burst Client for Windows v0.3.9 - All in One: Wallet, Plotting & Mining
-
you must wait a few blocks before it shows.
-
thanks to the burst team new wallet im trying it now and so far so good. working way better for me. and yes i will buy you a beer lol.
-
@daWallet finally back in the game, thx
-
@daWallet i've done it but this appears:
Is this ok? the NRS Version shouldn't be like 1.2.5?
-
@gpedro you are using the online wallet, I think that's why you still see 1.2.3 but if you go to your Local wallet it'll be 1.2.5.
-
@JohnathanMoura hmm allright my local one still don't start up... Thanks. I'm waiting for now!
-
@gpedro Sometimes it will pick up the old burst.jar and boot 1.2.3 the best thing I've found is to completely uninstall the old version and start fresh. On windows 7 you have to go into view hidden files to get rid of it. Copy over the db is the only thing I do.
-
@gpedro @crutsy when you install a new version of the AIO it automatic replaces the burst.jar file. So you already have the 1.2.5 version.
as I said, when you uses the Online wallet on the AIO you are using the http://wallet.burst-team.us:8125 if you use Local wallet, you will see 1.2.5.
-
@JohnathanMoura So the NRS Version that talks on 1.2.3 is the NRS version of the local wallet server of the online wallet? I've update my java and waited for 15 minutes now, and my local wallet didn't started yet. Should i do anything more?
-
@gpedro try this.
Close the Win Client fully
Go to
C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\BurstWallet\burst_db\ folder. (The AppData folder is hidden!)
and delete all files in "burst_db" folder.
restart Win Client. Then the Blockchain downloads again - but this time it will take only 3 to 6 hours.
-
-
@JohnathanMoura @crutsy I just had to wait more 5 minutes (LOL) and my local wallet is good to go with 1.2.5 NRS! Thanks for the help...
-
@JohnathanMoura You're okay using the 1.2.3 online wallet, I've upgraded two of the four instances to 1.2.5, and once they prove to be solid will move them all over to 1.2.5.
-
@haitch I know, I was trying to explain for them.
they were confuse about local and online wallet.
-
@JohnathanMoura Yeah, I know - but it's not straight forward, and was pointing out that 1.2.3 was okay on the online, and it'll soon be 1.2.5

For those of you who are using the all in one wallet to mine and plot, have you had issues with overlapping plots while using the plotting portion of the wallet ???
I have had several occasions, on the current version as well as previous version(s) with it randomly generating overlapping plots. Most of the time, I have noticed that it has happened when I have went a longer period of time, between plotting (a few days to even multiple weeks). Could this have something to do with it?
Shouldn't the all in one version be looking at your current plots and deciding where to start the next plot file?
I have in the past used the plotter manually, modifying where to start and how much space for each file to take up without issues, however that is not something configurable in the all in one client. Is this something that still needs modified manually someplace other than the GUI or am I missing something ?
-
@tomahawkeer Yes I'm having this issue now. Don't think the time frame is the issue, at least that's not been the case for me. I've made plots back to back with the all in one and they overlap.
I was just going to come to terms with teaching myself to use the manual plotter when I get back to my mining rig today.
-
@Hotdogler I think im going to do the same thing. I just deleted all of the overlapping plots, and it seems that every time I would delete some, and start a new plot, a new overlap would show up that didnt show up previously. Probably deleted over 2 TB worth of plots over the past week and half because of it. I tend to only do small plots a couple times a day at most on my work machine, so it makes it difficult to pin point it.
-
The problem you guys have is because you altered the plots in some way.
The software checks the size of the plot folder and keeps on plotting depending on the size -sequentially . If you delete not the latest plot but a plot in the "middle" or the first - then the new plots get calculated wrong. Overlapping appears.
-
@daWallet Is there a way to correct the issue without deleting all of the plots and starting over ?
