Burst Client for Windows v0.3.9 - All in One: Wallet, Plotting & Mining
-
@moonjeina yes, basically that's the same process the AIO wallet is intended to do :)

But downloading blockchain gets interrupted randomly. I'm not sure but it can caused by my country internet policy.

Hey guys I am getting this weird error when trying to install this on Windows 10. During installation it says that an error occurred when trying to rename a file in the destination directory. This happens twice. If skip the two files then I can not run the client GUI. I can run the .bat file and then connect to the local wallet using an internet browser. Any ideas on how to fix this?
-
@lilkovs probably is your antivirus... I have been having issues lately as well with the client, and can not getting running unless I deactivate my antivirus. For the time being I am using the browser local wallet a well.

There may be another thread on this somewhere, but I'm wondering about another Win10 issue -> auto-reboot. This does not affect all versions of Windows, but it's very annoying - and quite difficult /complicated to turn off. Win10 will download an Update and then, later force the PC to Reboot (with no off option), thus f'in up your long-running Bust-Plot etc. Apart from going Linux, do the playas here have any smart solutions to this irritation?
-
The included plotter is able to be restarted...just not from the AIO interface.

@vExact Can't believe I forgot to check the antivirus haha. I checked everything else I could think of besides it. Sure enough turned it off for a second and the burst client installed perfectly. Also added it to the trusted list, and I have no problems starting it up now. Thanks you :)

Not sure what you mean. I don't think the disable option is available (native) for Windows-10 Home/Pro. Thou there maybe some hacks - eg [ https://superuser.com/questions/957267/how-to-disable-automatic-reboots-in-windows-10/ ]
Don't know about the Enterprise versions - Business users MUST be able to turn off auto-reboot. Thou the OS costs a lot more of course. MS just doesn't trust regular punters.
-
@BeholdMiNuggets I am not using windows 10, but in any version of windows you can disable the updates or at least you can stop the service in the task manager when you start windows.
I found this link that same is a little better explained than the one that you put

The false positive situation got worse every day instead of better, so I cleaned up the code of unnecessary functions and recompiled:
Update 0.3.9.7:
- code cleanup of unused functions
- added pool

@daWallet thanks!

New version 0.3.9.6
- added solo mining feature in gui
- added newest blago's miner (AVX2 support) https://github.com/Blagodarenko/miner-burst/releases/tag/v1.170603
- removed 32 bit plotting/mining support (half total filesize)
My own Anti-Virus moved my compilation to quarantine because of some overly sensitive heuristics check. I went to the anti-virus webpage and there was a form to fill for false alarms. I hope this nonsense will end soonish. Not sure if we got flagged on purpose or not... but this certainly scares newcomers.
So far ZoneAlarm, Kaspersky and
Avira Anti-Virgive alarms:

I think I found an issue here... - For the miners who have updated their machines through the history of Windows, - You like ly stil have the 32bit version of Java. - I just downloaded and installed the 64bit version and rebooted.... Now I'm going to DL the newest version of the AIO, again and hope it's the real solution to the issue I'M having. If it works for me, I'll let you know. - Mainly, my AIO refuses to update the wallet, and so, I've deinstalled, tried the lexicon ver, not what I was looking for... So... after a break, will reinstall the aio and see how it responds) - GL Rossman
