-
My Kaspersky decided that wallet 0.3.9.5 file contains a Trojan.
Please do NOT be alerted as it is turned to be a false-positive.
Kaspersky and ZoneAlarm report it as a threat while in their forums they DO confirm its a false-positive since 2013!
I contacted Kaspersky to solve this and hope they will answer soon.

My man DaWallet is working on the matter from his side as well which makes me comfortable and we're in good hands :)

@rnahlawi not quite related, but an interesting reading though :)

-
@vExact CIA already have exploitation kits for all of them .. it was leaked in Vault-7 project and Kaspersky flaws were on top of all other AVs :D
-
@rnahlawi indeed. I have been using Bitdefender for a while now and it surprised me learn that according to the reports it caused hackers quite some trouble :)
-
New version 0.3.9.6
- added solo mining feature in gui
- added newest blago's miner (AVX2 support) https://github.com/Blagodarenko/miner-burst/releases/tag/v1.170603
- removed 32 bit plotting/mining support (half total filesize)
My own Anti-Virus moved my compilation to quarantine because of some overly sensitive heuristics check. I went to the anti-virus webpage and there was a form to fill for false alarms. I hope this nonsense will end soonish. Not sure if we got flagged on purpose or not... but this certainly scares newcomers.
So far ZoneAlarm, Kaspersky and
Avira Anti-Virgive alarms:

Installed Java (developer version and normal version both), updated IE to version 11, still having "Java script error", still having "wallet can't load please update java", still wallet says "i dont like you, so i won't work"... grrrrr
I am using Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit. What else I must update and/or install?
Also this is 4th try to send this post. Forum giving some "unknow error"... Ok I guess I don't have software/technical problem, I have a curse on me.
-
@moonjeina Java & JavaScript are two different programming languages.
Java, comes in two versions, the 32-bit and 64-bit.
AFIK for the wallet you need the 64bit.
open a command prompt and type "java -version" <enter>
if you see 64bit in the output you have the correct version.if this does not fix it, please post a screenshot of the exact error message.
-
-
Ah, also this is "javascript error" I mentioned above. I'm not sure what is the English name of the error message because I'm not using English Windows version.
-
@moonjeina
uninstall the 32-bit java
then re-boot,
then install the 64-bit java https://www.java.com/en/download/windows-64bit.jspReport back if you are still having issues after that.

The javascript error is caused by old IE versions. Run windows updates and patch to the latest version of everything.
-
@iKnow0 Now it worked without any problem. Thank you so much. :)
@haitch I'm using IE 11, the latest version available for Windows 7. However wallet working properly despite of that tiny annoying yes/no question window. :)
-
@moonjeina You are welcome, happy Bursting!

@daWallet The wallet is a false positive to some antivirus scanners including avast, avira, kasperskyand mcaffee. It shows a warning while downloading and the macaffe plugin warns. This could keep new users from the coin: https://www.virustotal.com/en/file/cf26531d1f6ae462e58ff21076dbecdf104d1822fb02ce8691835d063ba774fc/analysis/1497444306/
