How Do I Start Solo Mining?

Greetings. I am new to mining and new to this forum as well. I would like to give solo mining a try, but wonder how do I get started doing it. I am currently mining at 1.4 TB and looking to upgrade to 5 TB ASAP. Any help will be appreciated.

Others have posted that anything greater than 28TB will have better experience with solo mining. With a 5TB plot, I recommend pool mining for now.

Thanks. I've been trying a few of the pools. I've gotten very good results with tross, but that seems to be down right now. Appreciate the advice.

I recommend taking a look at the "recommended plot size" column. Some pools have miners with massive plot sizes which will be difficult for a smaller miner to keep up with.
