Changed Pools, getting" error 1004"...
-
@chyna88 I just tried changing the reward recipient, and it says, error code 6 Not enough funds, ?? But I have a balance
-
@chyna88 I justdouble checked on which wallet I am on, and it says online wallet! The local wallet is not ready and is downloading (??)
-
@chyna88 Are you using the AIO wallet right?
-
I think so...
-
I mean after I started mining, I never had any problems, but now, I can't seem to get into any pool.
-
@chyna88 then when you go to the start mining box you have a change reward assignment and you have another change reward assignment that is for when you get error 5 below... Just try that one, i've seen it resolve another errors than error 5...
-
ok...let me try...
-
Now it says incorrect recipient...errorCode 4

@chyna88 just to make sure you used the complete burst address not the one that shows on your miner right? the one on your miner error don't has the "BURST-" part...
EDIT: no you are not mining riht now!

Just to add to what @gpedro said, also ensure you are not adding a space to the front or end the Burst address or passphrase. If you are unsure, copy and past the info into notepad and check. Once you've changed the reward assignment, allow 4 blocks to pass. Or, wait for about 45 minutes which is what I typically do. Once the miner is up and running, let us know if you see a "confirmed DL" transaction on the screen.

I also recommend you visit a faucet and get some Bursts before you run the mining program.

Once the transaction has been confirmed (red circle), send one burst to @gpedro using BURST-JYHR-SPXP-YT22-5F4KM and wait for it to confirm.

Hi, I think I might another problem....I have windows 10 Microsoft Edge. It came with this laptop. So the Java is not supported in Microsoft Edge.. When I tried downloading Java, it says :Denied access! My local wallet says" If local wallet does not start at all You probably don't have Java installed) I did install Java, but not on the Edge. So what should I do now? I really don't care for Microsoft Edge, but it came standard with my laptop! And my wallet seems fine when on the Online status! (I do have a balance) Help

@chyna88
@gpedro said in Changed Pools, getting" error 1004"...:@chyna88 strange and you are running on local or online wallet? if local check if your wallet is not on fork by trying in one of those:
https://wallet.burst-team.us:8125/rewardassignment.html
https://wallet.burst-team.us:8126/rewardassignment.html
https://wallet.burst-team.us:8127/rewardassignment.html
https://wallet.burst-team.us:8128/rewardassignment.htmlhave you tried do the reward assignment throught one of this links?
-
And I always use the Account Manager to open my wallet...I just click Load wallet and I'm set. Now It seems that my local wallet is non-existent! Ever since Tross did some maintenance on the trosspool, that's when my whole thing started acting up!
-
Yes, the minute you put that link up yesterday, I tried using the 8125...cannot access that page...haven't tried the 8126, 8127 or 8128
-
@chyna88 all the web wallets are up and the links are working. Not sure why you had an issue.
-
ok, let me try again
-
-
@chyna88 try one of the other ones... Your online wallet throught the client uses that wallets and one of them could be down in the minute you try... With your client you have to update your Internet Explorer, because it uses the IE for acessing those wallets, and i don't think the pool can make damages on your blockchain files but you should re-download the blockchain, by this process:
1 - Close the Client completely (check in the tray!)
2 - download blockchain from db.burst-team.us
3 - extratct the files in there to %AppData%\Roaming\BurstWallet\burst_db and when asked for replace files say yes
4 - Reopen the client and wait 10 min before you try to open the local wallet
-
@chyna88 Open Task Manager, go to Processes/Details and see if you have a Java process running and chewing up a lot of CPU. If there is no Java process either you don't have Java, or the wallet had an error starting.
