things like this eed to be clearer for the avg user , when i came to burst all of these features were unknown to me , and when i did happen to come upon them i had to youtube and google to find out what it was , so many real and very decent things happening in burst and we don't even know how to use half of it properly, if you would have told you burst offers an online decentralized market exchange and small how to for dummies , i would have been in that way faster

@dagentlemang I slightly agree with you. Yet, when I used this forum feature, the forum opened up like a flower and I was able to answer a lot of my own questions. I still have some questions but there are things on the forum that are too advance for me right now. Still learning.
-
@dagentlemang That was the whole idea behind these forums - get one central place where the software, the knowledge is, and build a community that can help each other.
-
thanks for the replies and you're right , i agree , in the forums i did find everything i need, never used it till i needed to though. Forums were never really my thing but i'm glad i've found this one! cheers lads

@dagentlemang - I spent about 10 years doing volunteer tech support for what was a major tech company. The forums were where 99% of issues were solved. Where it was a user issue, it was corrected, where it was a software issue, it was escalated to product managers. Community forums are probably the most effective solution for fixing user issues, and narrowing down technology issues.

@haitch hi, sorry just got to ask.as im really new..does downloading the wallet taking a really long time? as more than 2hours now?
-
@Alongzz The wallet software, or the blockchain itself? Wallet should be fast - blockchain can take 6-8 hours if doing from scratch. You can get a headstart by downloading db.burst-team.us and extracting it into your burst_db directory.
