Connecting Plots
-
@gpedro Great. Should I connect all the plots and optimize them, or should I optimize each plot and then connect them ? Which way is better ?
-
@CoinBuster i guess the best way should be first connect them and then optimize but the connect will not make almost any difference, like @Blago said is like 8 ms per each plot that you will gain... If i were you i would just optimize them not connect that plots...

@CoinBuster you can join multiple plots IF AND ONLY IF they are contiguous, and have the same identical stagger - you can join 0_999 to 1000_1999, but you can't join 0_999 to 2000_2999
-
@haitch Congrats on your 1000th post ! It's a big symbolic step for the forum :)
-
@haitch Oh i didn't know that... Congratz man! Just a heads up: I will pass you in posts pretty soon xD I have 870 already xP
-
@Gadrah_ Thanks. Wow - didn't know I was so chatty!
-
@haitch Thanks man. BTW Can you plot on one computer and move it to another computer, then mine the plot ?
-
@CoinBuster Yes, but don't do it if you're using the AIO miner/plotter. The plotter won't know the files already exist, and will try to plot the same nonces again
-
@haitch What is an AIO miner/plotter ? 0_0. I am basiclly running multiple plots on severel computers at once, using the same stagger. Then I am moving the plots to a hard disk for minning from one computer.
-
@CoinBuster The All in One - It's the windows combined Wallet, Plotter, Miner. If you're manually createing them, then no problem.
-
@haitch Awesome tnx. Now, in order to help you increasing your post count a little bit higher still...I have another question o_0 Can I change the numeric account number on a plot after it was plotted ? XD Tnx
-
@CoinBuster No - the contents of the file are intrinsically linked to your ID - so no, no changing the file account id.
