@bvgfhrht I just received this message as well plotting for the first time using my computers HDD. Any confirmation on why the error and solution?
-
I've received the same message but then the wallet started normally. I would like to know whats is this too.

@Vanquish Check out this thread : https://forums.burst-team.us/topic/1421/socket-fehler/14
@daWallet said in socket fehler:
@bvgfhrht I will fix this in the next version. This error is annoying but only related to the market information. Mining, plotting or the wallet are not affected.
It's nothing and will be fixed soon !

@Gadrah_ Awesome. Great for the swift reply :)

-
@Gadrah_ Yeah, I've gotten bit by the Burst coin/ Bitcoin bug. Still very green about this process so I'm taking it step by step. So far so good :)

@Gadrah_
Actually when this happens plotting stops. Or perhaps plotting does happen at all. I'v gone 2 nights and one day and only 1/3 of what i ask was plotted. that was the first night since then nothing, except these socket errors
-
@doc327hank this is just a coincidence. Trust me on this. The error pops up when the market info can't be updated for some reason. You should check if your drive is NTFS formatted and not FAT32. FAT32 can only save files up to 4 GB size.
-
@doc327hank The plotting wont actually stop but it will slow down...
Besides Plotting could take from a few hours (Small size Gigabyte or less),
to days (medium/huge size Terabyte or more).
-
@doc327hank Just out of curiousty, what is the size of the TB and how many cpu cores did you allocate to plotting? Or are you using the GPU plotter?
