@maxerez Mining Burst is very easy on the hardware and on energy consumption, so electricity wouldn't be a problem anyway. I believe you can mine other currencies at the same time but I'd wait for someone more informed to confirm that ;)

also my local wallet hasnt been working since yesterday, it says java script needs to start up and its been over a day, do i need it to mine or not? if yes how do i fix it?

@maxerez Yes, mining burst and other crypto at the same time with cpu should be ok. I'm sorry, java is required for this software...

@Dario's-wallet the thing is it worked pefectly yesterday the first time i tried it but now its not. any ideas of what could be the problem?

@maxerez Oh, I'm sorry, maybe I misunderstood... You need a recent version of java to execute the miner, but you don't need a local or online wallet running for mining. However, for this problem, try go to C:\Users\YourUser\AppData\Roaming\BurstWallet, then double click on "run.bat": the wallet java task should appear and remain active. Let's keep it running for 10/15 min and see what happen... Maybe post here the content of this instance if you can (right click on the window, edit, select all, redo and copy)...

Also, firstly, have you tried to close and restart the wallet (I mean also deep close in the tray, near the windows clock)? Restart your pc?

Hey guys, I'm very new to mining as well. I have a question relating to the data usage to mine? I only have 25gb per month. Does this affect the amount of mining I can complete per month?

@NakedN1ck Mining uses only a few kilobytes of data per hour.
The local wallet will download the blockchain of 3 GB when you start the Win Client. Sometimes it doesn't start. "It's not a bug, it's a feature" for you. ;)
You can mine without local wallet and use the online wallet instead. Starting the miners without starting the win client is also possible.
