Another Error code 5, Help !
-
@haitch Yes I do :(
-
@BenBurst Your account exists, has a public key. If you're getting the error 5 I suspect you're copying/pasting an extra letter with your passphrase.
-
@haitch That's what I was thinking, but I copy the same thing to log in in my wallet and it works...
-
@BenBurst On the Burst client when you are trying to do the reward assignment you have 2 buttons the normal reward assignment button and other below, use that one?! I've seen that button solve error 4 and error 5 although i don't know the reason!
-
@gpedro Hi,
I try both buttons, no one works.
I also try to do the same operation with another Burst account, and it works at the first try.
I really think there is a problem with my previous account, Is there any limit for the passphrases length ?
Mine is really long, maybe the login system of the wallet accept it but not your reward assignment system ?
-
-
@gpedro 80+ characters :-) nothing is too secure ...
-
@BenBurst LOL i don't know if could be it... Just wait for the man that made that wallet possible but i don't think it could be the problem xD
-
@gpedro I do a lot of tests and I think I know whats the problem.
Each time I do not put any space in a passphrase, I cant do the reward assgnment, If I put a space somwhere, I can do it...Dont know if im right but I try 6 accounts this morning and all of them confirm that...
-
Hi @BenBurst, just checking to see if you are up and running.
-
Hi Guy,
Sorry for the late answer.
Yes I'm up and running.As I say 18 days ago, no space in the passphrase, no chance to change reward assignement.
Ben
