Burstcoin Updates
-
Hi everyone,
This post is for those that do not follow the post at bitcointalk.org and or not sure what is going on with Burst. There is a lot of activity going on in development and sometimes it can get lost in the various ways we all communicate with eachother and other websites. If I missed something or got something wrong PM me and I'll make the change.
@crowetic summarized what is in development and I will post it here. I will only speak about Burst for now. There are other amazing things being developed (Qora), that Crowetic spoke about. However, I'm only going to talk about Burst in this post. I've also highlighted a few things worth mentioning.
I will be retweeting this thread and trying to get the word out regarding Burst. It's my opinion that the success of the coin depends on us spreading the word. I would also like to see a wiki page created for Burstcoin. For now, this post will have to do.
Highlights
We have much more than messaging and financial derivatives... P2P worldwide marketplace, asset exchange, smart contracts, hdd mining, encrypted messaging, decentralized lottery, decentralized automated bidding system (in testing phases), decentralized automated advertisement system (in development), wallet alias system for naming wallets and registering blockchain based domains on the BURST chain.
A 'tumbler' that was made a while back, just can't recall if it was ever actually launched or not, a community member paid a million BURST bounty for it to be created and vbcs did create it.
A brick and mortar company that is going to be accepting BURST as payment here soon.
Two new lottery games are being developed, and a UI for making Smart Contracts, that will give yet another use case for ANYONE to be able to make use of Smart Contracts on BURST.
In the near future, with the development of the decentralized trade portal, people will be able to use BURST services with BTC, LTC, and multiple other coins coded with newer bitcoin core code. With no changes to the other coins whatsoever.
Multiple other investors that Crowetic be speaking to shortly, about investing into the project, tech, and businesses that will be built on top of it.
All of this on a system that will be viable to be mined on phones, tablets, raspberry pi's, etc.
Also worthy of noting.
