@CaptainSparrow What matters is your plot size! Bigger plot size equals best DeadLines equals more green rows xD
Use the AVX if the miner says on top that your PC is compatible (should be...) the CL miner is to read the plots using your GPU and it's a faster, but with yours 50Gb you'll not see any difference, you see some difference if you had a lot of HDD plotted...
And you can close the wallet client, you don't even need the client to start the miner, if you starts the miner manually!
I will try AVX for a while then, thanks for the info!.

@CaptainSparrow On DE pool i'm not sure how they pay, but you can check the overview of the pools here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1KHu9BWwy_QXIYAx2m_Tzs9BqPoTYUDhEDbHihZEXGsE/edit#gid=81124645

@CaptainSparrow Just checking, have you sent and received a burstcoin through your wallet?
-
@socalguy He is mining so he had to do the reward assignment so his account had an outgoing transaction already yes...

Yes the miner is working. Actually i am getting "miner has stopped" if i use AVX so i must use default for now until i get a bigger HDD
-
@gpedro yea I saw,
As i do not think i have had any share or payment yet.
and thought I would check. Nvm then. :)
-
@CaptainSparrow When you run the default it says what your PC supports on the first lines, if AVX is there you can use it!
-
Thanks then guys, ..... just waiting for payment now from the pool LOL :) Got nothing there yet.
It says
-
@CaptainSparrow I suspect it will take a lot of time until you get some coins with your 50GB, the DE auto Payout is at 150 Burst or 24h after your first burst mined... what is your Burst address?

Address is BURST-5D6M-FWWU-TCDS-HBEPK - i will see what i get, i know its only 50gb but when i get my bigger drives if its worth it i will keep on mining :) the blockchain is taking forever to download on local wallet i have to go online.

BURST-5D6M-FWWU-TCDS-HBEPK
my advise is that you talk on the chat in there... @Burstde will certainly tell you where you can see how much you have right now... You show on the pool but i don't know how to see how much you have until now, but since you have a chatbox in there, ask him... It wortth i know it does in the last 3 months i manage to collect almost 200k burst so it worth for sure! xD
P.S.: not all come from mining but worth and you will certainly catch the bug of Burst when you plot your first drive xP

@CaptainSparrow Regardeless to the blockchain, shouldn't take more than 8 hours but if it does completely close your client (check in the tray!), download the blockchain from db.burst-team.us and extract the files to :
%AppData%\Roaming\BurstWallet\burst_db (AppData folder is hidden!)
When you're asked if you want to replace the existing files say yes! Then reopen the client and wait around 10 minutes (sometimes take a little longer) and LocalWallet should be working!
Happy mining!

I cant find that Roaming\BurstWallet\burst_db it says no such path exists even with app data pit in there, guess i will just leave it downloading slowly, it is moving buy barely.
I am getting a 4TB drive and plottong it over the weekend, so hopefully i will have some good mining coming alond then :) 200k in 3 months is pretty good, Thanks for the help, i am switching to a better pool once my 4tb drive is plotted.
-
@CaptainSparrow Yes but as i said that 00k in 3 months mostly didn't was from mining as i'm mining with just 1.5 TB most of the day...
see if you have "show hidden folders" active in explorer options if you have, just do a directory each time, go to : %AppData%, and then go to Roamig folder and then go to BurstWallet folder, and then go to burst_db folder ! Sometimes i get that too and this work when happens!

How is it going, I have a 2tb drive running on the pool using Blagos 160705. Have found blocks with just that much. My secret is to use 440gb or in this case (2) 880gb plots for each 2tb drive I may have.
something about those numbers.Normally I run 22tb however the mining desktop I used for 15 years has died. Installed win8.1 and started using a750ti and jminer 4.5, that was a working too. With my pool you can expect to get 200+ coins a day with 2tb
if you want to compare that with other pools. Stay with the small pools as they will pay better.

@Burstde You only use 880Gb plotted for each 2 Gb??? that doesn't make sense... how many time have you been reading those plots until you found that 2 blocks? It rellys on luck and i don't think it is that numbers that make the difference just that you're just a LUCKY BASTARD xDD
-
@gpedro Remember it is a block for the pool and that it isn't solo mining. Yes if I was solo mining it was luck however if you stick to a pool you will find a block for that pool.
western digital 2TB internal hard drive running in a hard-drive enclosure hookup up to a targus usb 3 usb hub and that is in a usb 2 of a dual-core server.Other 2 drives are 8tb seagates and 2-5tb ext. seagates not hookup right now as of last weeks fried motherboard from a cx600 psu I had for mining btc. Dual-core e5800 cpu
-
@Burstde Impressive! I just mine with 1.5Tb most of the days... But i didn't get it, you just fill 880Gb with plots on a 2Tb drive?
-
@gpedro I think he's plotting 2 * 880GB per drive. Remember a "2TB" drive, is really about 1,892 GB. so with 2 * 880GB droves he has about 100GB free space for anything required.
