MAJOR SCAMS ON ASSET EXCHANGE!
-
@Zeus there is actually a semi-anon solution. For example a group of folks in NXT called NXTInspect act as a neutral entity that verify asset issuer's identities if the issuer wants to. They hold my details as well. A copy of my ID and Pass. It it them, and ONLY them that are to know this information and my info is to be revealed only in the case i'm proven to have a scam asset so that people can form an angry mob and hunt me down.
I believe some issuers here in burst as well have revealed their identity to some of the admins.
Anyway, what i'm saying is that it is possible to form such a group of people that hold these details, provided that they are trusted members of the burst community and can respect the anonymity clause until the case to make a scammer's identity public.
So what i'm saying is that as far as the world is concerned, you are anonymous and will forever be that way if you don't screw people over.
-
@nameless That was exactly what i suggested to be created in my other replys on this post...
-
@gpedro apologies. mush have missed it. anyway, glad we see eye-to eye on the matter
Of course, such thing is but a preference. In the end, it's also fun to have full anon issuers and invest at your own risk. It makes you consider an asset twice as an investor. Regardless if the issuer was anon or public, i always went with my gut when investing after doing my homework.

@nameless no need to apologies LOL glad that someone likes the idea xD

Moved thread to "Asset Exchange"
People have seen it now, and it belongs in another category.

Well it seems our scammer was a very busy individual. He has/had 19 accounts, one of which I banned for spamming. A little bit of digging into the guy shows: It looks like he attends Louisiana Tech, has an AT&T phone, has Suddenlink Communications as an ISP, uses a VPN called NorthGhost and possibly has a virtual server with a firm called LogicWeb. Anyone wishing to dig further, go for it.
The accounts are, well were, they'll all be banned soon:

Holy shit ! Now that's what i call a potential mega-scam.
-
@haitch oh fuck!! I have a lot of BurstVest a total of 1355.03, that's a total of 135'503 Burst! I trusted ddos!
I will have a trust issue after this -.-' that's all the money I had when I started mining, my initial money I sent it to that asset :'(
-
@Zeus I feel ya man, I sunk a huge chunk of my initial burst purchase into that as well. That bastard sure did a number on some of us. Well I'm off to go sob quietly in corner thinking about bunk assets.
-
@Zeus I feel your pain, 2400 BurstVest here. I move the scam assets off to a separate account so I can remove them from my bookmarks, and not be reminded of the times I got taken. Looked over at that account just now - assets that cost me at least 3 million burst and are now worthless :(
-
DDOS had 98 rep lol
-
@haitch Omg ... Lost 3mil Bursts in the scam ?? I still floating with like 25k bursts .... You could had hired few developers & started small burst projects with that amount
-
@Castiel Not this one, cumulative lost in scams. Fell big for one about 6 months ago. Guy seemed totally legit, had built a major Burst website, issued 4 assets, then disappeared. That one cost me.
-
@haitch Thats sad.... Like I said before, even best people can scam :(
Guys,
How's my new signature ??
-
@Castiel love the new signature :)
It's like wearing a big ''fuck you'' sign on your forehead for the world to see. It might even work, maybe people will appreciate the dark humor in it and donate. Good luck!
-
what now? is DDOS one of his too?
-
@jervis yes Jervis I trusted that Mother F...
-
Holy f*ck me sideways!
-
That motherfucker should be punished hard... I would love if their accounts got hacked and he lost everything!!! I doesn't lost anything on this but i feel your pain guys...
