@Xpice You have to wait at least 4 blocks before trying to change again. What pool are you looking to join?
-
Wow, thank you for the fast responce.
I dont know wich is best for me, im just starting out with my 150 gb drive to test what is possible here. Cause im in Berlin i thought im gona use: pool.burstcoin.de
-
@Xpice you may go on that pool or any of the smaller ones
-
I have restarted the mining process. !
Now it goes but if i go again to set the reward assignment hes telling me this:
{"requestProcessingTime":0,"error":"Cannot reassign reward recipient before previous goes into effect: {"senderPublicKey":"cc0e56889582aed54310fc8f2c11064e82b0b871ade4f9dd486ca0c94e1a675d","signature":null,"feeNQT":100000000,"type":20,"version":1,"ecBlockId":"11103247688689329883","attachment":{"version.RewardRecipientAssignment":1},"subtype":0,"amountNQT":0,"recipient":"15291186589713514299","ecBlockHeight":274500,"deadline":1440,"timestamp":66405732}"}

@Xpice You shouldn't do another reward assignment without have passed at least 4 blocks since the last...
-
According to the screenshot, it seems that you are mining ok. You just have not found a nonce that is within the deadline time. A little patience.
-
@Focus So i should just chill down and drink tea?
BTW, here is an update of what is going on...
So, when will i get the coins?
Sry for beeing so noobish, but maybe someone after me will have the same issues.
-
@Xpice with just 143 Gb you will not mine almost nothing and on DE pool you will just receive your mined coins when you reach 150 Burst or in 1 week of your first mined burst, at least is this my knowledge about that pool, but you could see the overview of the pools here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1KHu9BWwy_QXIYAx2m_Tzs9BqPoTYUDhEDbHihZEXGsE/edit#gid=81124645

Thanks alot for the info! Great forum so far. =)
I had a look on it but What is important when chosing a pool? Is it even important to be on the same continent?Im starting with my old harddrive to get a feel for it. Im mainly interested in trading altcoins but if i can mine some at the same time, why not?
Maybe im gona invest for a few external harddrives. Just have to undestand the coin realy. I was not able to find deeper informations yet. Thanks for all the support guys.

@Xpice Just search in here and see the burst-team.us site you'll find pretty cool stuff... I like to think that when you are doing something in the internet you are doing that outside your country, i like to think that you are in a giant global country called internet so your location will not matter at all, regarding to the location will be exactly the same that you use DE pool or a pool located in japan (just for the example xD there is not a japan pool xP).
What to look where you are choosing a pool, defenetly the recomended plot size for that pool, the pool fees and, i think it's good to look for the frequency of payments...
