Local wallet won't load
-
Hi,
I have the latest windows wallet and the latest version of Java installed on my computer, however when I click on local wallet on the Burst wallet, I get an error message :
Your local wallet hasn't started yet. It can take up to 10 minutes to start up. Try it again later.
If your local wallet doesn't start at all, you have probably no Java installed!
Download it here: https://www.java.com/download/
and then restart the Burst Client. When i first installed the Burst Wallet, it worked but now nothing.
-
Did you waited 10 minutes "while local wallet running" and try to load again? I was having that problem before, then I solved it in this way:
Run the wallet --> minimize to taskbar --> wait 8-10 minutes --> load the local wallet and login
-
I have tried it too and it failed to work. What is way out ?
-
Then seems I'm out of solutions, sorry :/
-
It's not only the local. The online one has issues as well... It shows me the right block and everything, but transactions i made hours ago are still pending. Very strange. I cleared my cache and everything, and even the web wallet is messed up.

@nameless try these wallet on your browser mwallet.burst-team.us:8125/
You should be with some corrupted blockchain, you can try to redownload it manually and you could try to clear the cache of your Internet Explorer for solve the web wallet issue
-
mwallet.burst-team.us:8125/ won't load for some reason. maybe it will come back online later. and as far as the blockchain goes, i have the client on 3 different computers, each downloaded the chain in a different way. Online wallet won't work as well. I asked my gf to have a look from her pc at home... same strange behaviour.
Cache is also cleared.
I'll wait it out. see what happens. maybe it's a glitch in the new client release.

In General, the current state (online/offline) of public wallets, faucets and pools is visible under following urls:
http://util.burst-team.us:8888
https://monitor.burst-team.us
http://observer.ddns.net:1111So if you can not reach a online wallet or faucet, check one of that pages for a alternative.
Sometimes it may happen that a server is down for a while.
-
Was there ever any resolution to this problem? I am having the same issue :(
-
@hernandez041182 You need to connect using https, not http.
-
Thank you, that makes a little more sense of what I have been researching. However, I am not sure what I am to do next.
-
Are you stuck on installing Java?
-
I have completed that step according to the verification process.
-
Please check if Internet Explorer can run Java.
-
Yes, that is where the java verification shows on IE.
-
-
Make sure you download the newest version of java, and that you download the 64bit version...
let me see if I have a direct download link I can give you... one second...
-
This version is a few months old, but it is the 64bit version. I would give this a shot, close out your BURST client, make sure it is fully closed, then install this version of java...
https://cloud.crowetic.com/s/N8m6m60G9qPYL3q
When that is complete, re-launch your BURST wallet (I would also make sure to download the newest version of the windows client here - https://sourceforge.net/projects/burstwindowswallet/) and wait about 5-10 minutes to allow java (local wallet) to initialize.
Once you've done this, let us know if you're still having any issues. Thanks!
-
@crowetic No good sir. I also tried reinstalling client and did not work.
