@daWallet yeah i have that one already (burst.h2) i made a folder then put in drive C in the burst folder then when i opened the local wallet it says that the blockchain needs to update what did i did wrong? thanks for the reply
-
@daWallet i have it already man i put as well in the burst folder but its still slowly updating. im stock
-
burst.h2 file should be about 2,8 gigabytes.
Right click the wallet icon on desktop
Click "Open containing folder"
You will see "burst_db" folder there, open it.
Copy the bigger burst.h2 file and paste into the folder. Click "Replace" when Windows warn you the file is aready exist.

@moonjeina thanks man if i can give you a virtual medal i would. much appreciate man. can i still ask questions in the future?
-
@ninjasmke yeah bro its still updating hahahahha my bad im sure its 2 gb the db file
-
@ninjasmke Sure you can ask. Actually, I am noob too. .)
-
@ninjasmke If you don't want to go through the trouble of downloading and updating the blockchain, you could use the web-based wallet instead - as that wallet already "contains" an updated blockchain all the time. That's what I use anyway, as I find it more convenient.

@ninjasmke
Don't put the file in the C:\Burst\ folder...you have to put in the AppData\Roaming\BurstWallet\burst_db folder. Really close the client with "exit" and start it again.

https://sourceforge.net/projects/burstwindowswallet/ here you go. Once you have installed the app, you will see that you can choose "online" or "local" wallet. Choose the online version if you want to keep it simple. Alternatively, you can use a regular web browser and go to https://wallet.burst-team.us:8125/index.html
You will also find the option of plotting and mining in the bottom left corner of the app!
-
@daWallet yeah i did it already but its still updating im just gonna use the online one so i dont have to stress myself. i dont have weed atm hahahahha you get me
-
@Propagandalf do i still need to download a miner and a ploting? or can i use the default from the app itself? im still a bit confused and dont know where to start gahhahaha
-
@ninjasmke It's all included in the app, mate :)
-
@Propagandalf nice one man ill message when i make some profit here. probably get a q to celebrate hahaha

Wow I am really amazed in how active this place is and I am glad, I really didn't expect much answer. Guys I feel stuck now. I got my wallet ready I did my plot took 24hrs to do on just a 299gb HDD that was so painfully slow. I started mining last night all night long I come back to it I think it only did about 3 rights because the rest kept saying error on them which i'm new so I have no idea still how it all really works. My main concern is that seen so many errors on a bunch of them I decided to close the miner and see how much I got well nothing happened I still only have the original 4 burst ii get for making the account so my question is how do I see that I got bursts? Also guys there is something interesting here. When I go to start mining when you want to click on start mining there are three types of minings. Defualt, AVX and opencl? whats the difference or importance and is it ok to just use the default one? Last thing is I think I mentioned already but worries me is that it keeps saying when im mining each lines says error this burst ccount does not match this other number that it puts out there, anyone know why that is making me feel like im running the miner for no reason since it never ever matches account.

Hi
Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I simply think you set your reward assignment with one account, and then you are trying to mine with a different account. Are you 100% sure you are using the same account? If you used a slightly different password to log in (having one extra space at the beginning or end for example), then you accidentally created a new account instead of logging into your original account.
Solution: Log into your original account, or set reward recipient again for the one you are using now. Nonetheless: Make sure to write down your password somewhere safe.
Note that your plot files are tied to one specific account (I think?), so plots and reward recipient must be associated with the same account.

I forgot to say that opencl mining uses your GPU (if you have one), while the two others use your CPU. Not all CPUs support AVX, so you also have the choice to not use it.

@Propagandalf when I made the account when it had no name I had used a burst to create the account change the name and all that. I know for a while it was giving me issues because it would log in as no name then I would log again and would log secondly on the one with my name on it but now lately I just log in normal and goes to my account that has the name on it. How can I fix this if I don't even know if im having two accounts when I thought making one is what I did.
