@luxe ahh very cool! i looked at this a few minutes ago but did not see that it also included target deadline! Thanks for making all these awesome things for burst luxe including: burstcoin network observer, the faucets, the plot optimizer.. etc. :)
-
well no plot optimizer, but you are welcome.
most stuff in software is just linked by me.
hopefully there will be a host with access to all listed pools/wallets soon.
-
Will try new Pool

Changed the mining to pool.burstmining.club but under the mining options, pool burstmining club did not show up as an option to start mining. Please advice which option should I chose to mine?
-
@Bitnet88 Here's a simple tutorial that @tross added to his pool, you can use this to mine in pools.
http://burstpool.ddns.net:8080/howto.htmlSorry I can't help with the AIO, I have never used it to pool because It makes too many errors about not identifying the drives, or something like that.
-
@Bitnet88 a smaller pool will earn you more provided they are finding blocks. Bottom line is you want to earn Burstcoin. Sitting on a large pool that periodly forks is a waste of mining time. If people would leave the larger pools and go to a smaller pool they will see they can earn more.
-
@Bitnet88 Go to choose pool in start mining and copy paste http://pool.burstmining.club/ then click change reward recipient and it will provide you the ID of pool.burstmining.club then paste it to reward recipient space and copy paste your passphrase.
-
-
@Bitnet88 Go here http://burstpool.ddns.net:8080/
On top menu click Network Observer it will show you the status of the network pools.

Please help
when trying to assign set rewards
receiving error "{"errorDescription":"Unknown account","errorCode":5}"
I have also downloaded BURST miner, v1.160705_AVX
getting error : Plot files not found...please check the "PATHS" parameter in your config file.
Press any key for exit...This is what my miner look config looks like :

@TIG312 In the Paths statement you need to use doubles-slashes - \\ not single.
Error 5 is normally that you haven't made an outgoing transaction. Set your username, send a burst, anything to create a transaction for your account.
-
@haitch sorry this is what i have in the paths statements currently
"Paths":["C:\\plots"],
"ShowMsg" : false,
"ShowUpdates" : false,I've been mining at least a month now and have made transactions to poloniex and back. does that count. I also just downloads the newest version of burst wallet and am waiting for the blockchain to redownload would that matter?
-
@haitch I just tried to set a username and i have my passphrase, it did ask me to wait for my BC to finish downloading so i think that would solve the 5 error. but I am still unable to locate my plot. would this be because i changed to blago's miner by chance? do i have to replot you think?
-
@TIG312 Try using the online wallet instead of your local one - it should let you do the reward assignment.
-
@haitch with version 1.2.6 I don't see the option of either a online wallet or local. I'm sorry for being such a hassle. I'm in progress of just downloading the all in one wallet version 1.2.5
-
@TIG312 Stick with 1.2.6, 1.2.5 had some issues. I assumed you were using the All In One plotter/miner. The only other possible issue causing the Error 5 is that you're copying some white space at the beginning or end of the passphrase.

@haitch i got the miner to work with the all in one but now i'm getting this error:
{"requestProcessingTime":16,"error":"Cannot reassign reward recipient before previous goes into effect: {"senderPublicKey":"5688c1b83d0c20d1bec42300f8dd4528e66470e3c49f20ec4ef6d79303bb9c5b","signature":null,"feeNQT":100000000,"type":20,"version":1,"ecBlockId":"13962651784129852207","attachment":{"version.RewardRecipientAssignment":1},"subtype":0,"amountNQT":0,"recipient":"3195398293854632251","ecBlockHeight":261484,"deadline":1440,"timestamp":63251457}"}
and this is in the miner:
{"result":"Passphrase does not match reward recipient","requestProcessingTime":0}
but the next:

what is going on? lol
-
@TIG312 You're trying to assign your reward assignment too many times - it only needs to be done once.
However, the line "20:51:34 [ 289601781771020135] confirmed DL: 1013676 11d 17:34:36" means the assignment has happened, and you're mining properly.
-
@haitch looks like everything is running properly now. haha I just wanted to say thanks for the support your great! and a waluable part of this community! appreciate all the efforts my friends!
