Plotting Problem
-
@jcstander I would download the block chain data base directly from the forum, it will be much quicker. The database is in the software section with any instructions you would need.
-
@jcstander This is not a issue of the plotter, but of the java vm.
Maybe this helps you ...
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/6748432/java-heap-space-out-of-memory
You could try reduce staggersize or give more memory to java vm.

-
@bytheseaster you ave to provide more info about your plots... Are you trying to plot through the client or manually?
-
@gpedro Client,,and they are on the same drive the 2 plotts
-
@bytheseaster post your problems in a lot of posts is not a way that people will reply you faster.
My advice is to completely close the client (check in the tray) and retry if that doesn't work my advice is to plot manually on Plot and Mining area you find tutorials and videos of how to plot manually by CPU and by GPU. Plotting manually have the advantage of you could choose how much RAM do you use and this will speed up a little your plot time if it were used correctly and GPU plotter is like 10x faster so why don't you give it a try?
-
@gpedro My Mining rig died 2 days ago,and i put together a new one,,after that i got this problems,,all just went crazy with my plots,,dont know if i need to start all over again,,replott 7 tb is no joke as you know
-
@bytheseaster have you checked your plots with plot checker when they for some reason died (never happened to me)? I will strongly advice you to plot manually and if your GPU allows you, use GPU is a lot faster...
-
@gpedro First of all ,I post just in 2 places, nothing else,,second,i dont have any video card to plot with,,all died,,but thanks anyway
-
@bytheseaster Only Win Client:
Your drives need different letters or they will be overlapped.
Plots on C: drive start with 3 ... like the third letter of the alphabet
Plots on D: drive start with 4So you have to rename your drives. It is easy with the windows partition manager..

@daWallet Once again you came to my rescue!!! My hero!!!
