  @vadirthedark You'll need to run it on a Windows machine - but you should be able to map a drive on the Windows box via Samba on linux, then run it against the plot on the mapped drive.

  I have been using the updated version of DCCT - the MDCCT plotter and have had a problem.
  The plotter has slowed to a crawl or stopped altogether at 95% complete. My drive is 5TB with a GeForce GTX 750 TI graphics card.

  Here is input to start:

  ./plot -k xxxxxxxxxxxxx587 -x 1 -d /media/imbota/burst/ -s 0

  Working output:

  Using SSE2 core.
  Creating plots for nonces 0 to 18907000 (4959 GB) using 12775 MB memory and 4 threads
  95 percent done.

  Does anyone have an idea as to why this might happen?
  Thanks for any help you can give.

  To forge a block, you have to submit the best deadline of the entire network. So if you have the best deadline, the pool you are on does not matter, you'll win the block anyway. On the other hand, being the best deadline of a pool does not mean you won that block.
  In reality, the difference between pools with many users and pools with less is that you'll win bigger amounts of Burst but less often in the latter. In the long run it rewards basically the same, it's just a matter of personal preferences.

  The passphrase files need to be in the folder and named "passphrases.txt". The key is the "s" at the end of the name, Now it works! Good luck to everyone!

  @casadosprj Wow, ok it seams drive read speed is not your problem, cause all is read within 17sec. So you maybe right your GPU is the bottleneck. What are you using?! Have you tried

  deviceId=1

  to use your cpu internal GPU ?! (You may need openCL drivers from intel https://software.intel.com/en-us/intel-opencl)

  EDIT: Well your Round time may also depend on the time, the pool needs to respond your deadline commit. So all your Setup may be fine, but you should consider try a pool witch can respond faster. Cause i see you commit all your deadlines and finish reading and stuff, and way after that the confirms are comming in. For me if i make a commit, i nearly instant get a confirm ... mostly before i commit another one. Don't get me wrong, your Setup is ok ... but you need so much time to finish round, cause the pool needs a looong time to respond, it seams.

  e.g. for me it looks like:
  2016-11-12 15:21:53.166 INFO 536 --- [ roundPool-1] burstcoin.jminer.JMinerCommandLine : dl '1258' send (solo)

  so confirm only takes 100ms (well thats local wallet and no pool so surely faster)

  @tylerk07 If you've got them, use them. The only "issue" with 2.5" drives if you're buying is capacity - max capacity is always going to be in the 3.5" form factor. And also, 2.5" drives tend to be more expensive for the same capacity.

  @Fudgybaby The formatting of your drive is probably FAT32. You need to format it to NTFS file system. Be careful and save your data of your stick before. Formatting will erase it.

  Seems like the disk is full. Close the plotter and you are good to mine.
  To get rid of the "name/size mismatch" you can run the plotchecker. See software section.

  took me about a week but i got everything optimized finaly imo well worth it my scan times have gone from the 230-250 sec area down to 33 - 38 sec... ploting the last little file that cant be optimized now to fill out my last HDD. for the good news i found 8g sticks of ram on amazon for 18$$ so i ordered 3 to fill up my empty ram slots ... when i do get more HDD's it will be much faster next time.

  Log in to your AIO wallet. Once logged in, look on the bottom part of the wallet and click “Start Mining” button. Once this pop-up window open , click on “Change Reward Assignment Change”button. After clicking the “Change” button, a “Set reward recipient” area will open on the upper left side of the wallet. Type in your miner’s wallet passphrase in the upper box. Also, type in the pool’s wallet address in the lower box (BURST-TBAU-6CT7-SD59-76Y22). Click the “Submit” button afterwards. For successful submission, you should see a new screen that shows something like a long string of numbers as this is the actual transaction creation that is doing the reward assignment to the pool Log in to your wallet and wait for 4 confirmation before starting to mine in the pool. You may be able to mine directly using the AIO Wallet and typing in pool.burstcoinmining.com.com:6080 in the box.

  @haitch Another one block #293757, this time i checked the winners (Block Generation Time 2.95 minutes) 2 min 57sec , thats a 30 second gap between my reported time, is there any way you can can validate my time?

  @rnahlawi The mobile miner is in test for now but it's constantly being improved by @IceBurst and @daWallet ...
  That was exactly the thread i remembered and looks like the user i was talking about is @piezo and he was mining on a Odroid XU4 like he said in there... I would say to give a shot at the Android app if you want to test it, and maybe if you find something that could be improved tell @IceBurst or @daWallet ...

  The Android App is supposed to be for Androids but if it runs on a Pi i don't see a reason for not expand his capacities for that too, right? xD

  I don't have any ARM besides my Android but i think ARM is the future and that makes the low power consumption of Burst to a whole new level so i would say that worth the shot?! Either way if you test it let us now how it goes xD

  Ive been picking up drives on local auction sites every now and then for years now. Like 500GB to 3TB anywhere from $5 to $25. Ive got around 50+TB with the only problem now being is that I don't have enough computers to be able to power them all haha
