  I am glad to report that Windows Memory Diagnostics Tool worked :) it said no errors found but the second drive just magically appeared in Disk Management :) Now to setup plotting and leave pc laboring on it :D

  Consider this: the less drives you have, the less connections (SATA or USB3), storage space, and electricity you need, so you have less overall investment. Bigger drives are also probably easier to sell or repurpose in the future.

  @nox once optimized no difference.

  i suppose stagger size equal to number of nonces would be more accurate. the idea here is to have one long continuous read of the scoop data by the miner and that is what optimizing provides.

  the second to last number in the filenames is the number of nonces and the last is the stagger size. optimized they are equal.
