  @HiDevin Don't do that, GPU plotter in direct mode or XPlotter ... makes no difference, as drive write speed will limit you to a few mb per sec. Do it like @sevencardz said ... plot to a PMR e.g. 2TB or 4TB and copy/optimize over the files to SMR. Much faster than directly plotting a optimized file on SMR.

  @dcozzi I have an internal 1tb drive and a wd my book 8tb. Exact same question.
  My 1tb drive seems to be getting all of the confirmed dls.

  @Dillion , it works well. If one wallet gets stuck I only loose 1/5 of my mining capacity.

  you just need to install windows 64 bit version by the looks of your problem and usually 32 and 64 bit share the same license per PC so you should not need to pay for it. Software here uses 64 bit and its more efficient, more data throughput and uses less energy to compute; leading to longer lifespan and less heat. There is a few miners here in 32bit but i haven't seen a plotter. Personally i think it'd be so slow anyhow.

  @yohanip 1 nonce = 4096 scoops, 1 scoop = 64 byte
  4096 x 64 byte = 262.144 byte = 256 kbyte

  A nonce is a chain of hashed scoops (4096), starting with the nonce and account-id.
  You can see it on the right side of this diagram (Plotter).

  It would be possible to compress it, but it would make it really hard for the miners to read the scoops, because every round just a specific scoop needs to be read. Also, because of the nature of compression algorithms (they remove redundancy, and in a plot file there should not be lot of redundancy), the compression of binary data often leads to bigger files.

  @franzia The Burst Wallet for windows uses the same online wallets, so if it's working directly, should be working in the Wallet for Windows.
