  @Energy thank you. I know that calculator. What I do not know is if it's numbers are proofen by experience. After all I am considering to invest 370-1480€ per month into burst coin mining. ;)

  im getting this error, plotting with xplotter. but i also enabled file and folder compression i believe, and wasnt getting this error before, but i keep getting the other code=2 error, just messing with the settings but cant seem to figure it out

  Hmmm...well I made sure to open 8126 on both machines. Maybe its because they have different connections to my network? Rig#2 is connected via powerline adapter (basically ethernet), while my main machine is connected via wifi. The network name shown on rig#2 is just "Network", while my main machine shows the wifi name I chose. I'm not a networking guy at all lol

  500 is good. I'm on that pool now helping with testing. The other thing that @crowetic said they were going to do is roll the block xfees into the pot for the miners, I don't think any other pool does that right now. Like last night the pool won the first block there was 18B block fee, that's 1%, or 1/2 of the pool fee. So hope to see this changed soon, not sure how big of a job it is?

  Does this new pool code have a config that oyu just change a switch for the fee or do you have to shut it down and recompile it? Curious.

  Not sure about that statement. Not sure which pool you're referring to but I watched beta.burst.ninja's first last night and did some forensics and the transactions fees come out of the pool pot, so the miner does lose them, just not individually. That's why if you hb for a 20B payout is have a pool with a low threshold payment structure, your paying big % fees.

  @xenomorph No, but its close about 99%, the remain space will not fit another scoop. Typically this is around 7-8GB left unplotted. Use the AIO wallet to plot the selected drive and all the plottable space will be plotted.

  @LeoFrk2, it's been addressed several times: the drives are slow to plot, but for mining they work well. I have ten of them working together and my mining time is reasonable...between 15 seconds to 25 seconds per block.

  @terlord I started mining 3 weeks ago with a 420GB on burst.lexitoshi.uk created for small miners. I got paid out 115 Burst for the 3 weeks though I didn't win any blocks. Their site is www.burst4all.com I hope this helps you to make comparisons. I'm enjoying mining so much and am investing in a new PC and some TBs.

  If the drives are SMR drives mainly only seagate current uses them then it will be faster to plot on separate drives then just copy of the plots afterwards.

  As far as getting started right away I would recommended 1TB plots to be generated and copied. That way you can start mining right away without having to plot say 8TB of data then copy it over. Second this is recommended is that if you lose power or the plot gets corrupted your only down 1TB instead of 8TB.

  The only downside to having multiple separate files is it can slightly hurt your read performance when mining but its generally not that big of a difference to be worth fighting over.
