@jhip626 i'm not sure if gpu plotting works with APUs, I think you need a discrete graphics card. Someone else with better knowledge regarding this should chime in though.

With that processor it seems pretty normal - if you have discrete gpu you could use the gpu plotter to speed things up a bit.

RE: WTF - Burst Priceposted in Price & Trading Discussion
@Lahou how long can this last though is the question...seems dangerously high

RE: [ANN] CCMINER1000posted in Asset Exchange
@BrandonAyLmao Problem is, if each time it recovers he issues more shares at lower prices (due to the increase in Burst, etc.), then we will never truly gain any value in the assets we had originally purchased. I don't think it's fair that he's artificially adjusting the asset price down, just so he can make a quick sale and get additional parts quickly. Very disappointed right now.

@ccminer I agree with @RichBC . We paid for the assets in Burst, so why are you devaluing our investment? Yes, the value of Burst has been rising, which is great! However, what you are doing drops the value of our investment and made it almost pointless to hold your assets - we should've just held onto Burst, like @RichBC said. Perhaps you should consider selling fewer shares for the same price of 10 burst (so that you can still expand), rather than adjusting the share price down to 4 burst to account for the increase in value of Burst.
@ccminer I've been a supporter of your asset right from the start of CCMiner100 but I must say, I honestly don't like the way you have been handling this asset lately (or your responses to @RichBC ). I'm lucky I already dumped the majority of your shares when they still had more value. I hope you can get back on track but I won't be holding my breath...

RE: [ANN] CCMINER1000posted in Asset Exchange
@ccminer If you are pausing the daily payouts and making it every 3 days in order to give you more time to integrate other aspects/diversify the asset, I think that's fine. but if you are pausing the daily payouts just because they're low, I'm not sure I'm happy about that. I would still prefer the daily payouts, even if they are low, so that I can compare my returns more easily.
Also, how long would this go on for? Thanks!

@ccminer sounds good, whatever is most profitable - will leave that up to you. Judging by today's payout, it seems like a pretty decent idea.

RE: AIO Local Wallet Issueposted in Help & Support
@potkas Thanks man, I had left my wallet loading/syncing before I left for work and when I got home the wallet fully sunk! No corrupted blockchain download from me force closing java - phew! Thanks to you and @daWallet for the help!

RE: AIO Local Wallet Issueposted in Help & Support
Thanks @daWallet and @potkas for the swift replies!
In my impatience I ended up force-closing java. I had a bad feeling about doing that but did it anyways...oops! I'm at work now but when I return I'll give your suggestions a try. Worst comes to worst I'll resync the blockchain from scratch but now I know what to do if it gets stuck again.
Thanks again!

AIO Local Wallet Issueposted in Help & Support
Hi All,
I've been using the local wallet of the AIO wallet for a while now without any problems but have recently run into some problems. My local wallet initially wouldn't load so I downloaded the latest client (v0.3.9.2) then cleared the blockchain and redownloaded it. Local wallet still would not load so I cleared DB from the help menu, as suggested, and let it resync.
Java was using 99% of my cpu to sync the blockchain when I went to bed but this morning I found it stuck on "syncing local wallet: 98.27%". There was also a message that said the request timed out. Warning: This does not mean the request did not go through. You should wait a couple of blocks and see if your request has been processed. Java was now using only 30-40% of my cpu and as the blockchain file had not been modified for over 3 hours, I assumed it was stuck and forceclosed the client and restarted it.
Now I still get the same request has timed out error, Java is still only at 30-40%, and now windows is also saying my burst client is not responding. What should I do now? Do I need to resync the blockchain from scratch? Anyone else having this issue?
This has been a frustrating experience - haven't been able to access funds or assets for a while now because the online wallet is also down. Would really appreciate some input/assistance. Thanks all!

@rnahlawi right, i forgot to account for that. Pretty big drop but hopefully things normalize soon. thanks for chiming in.

RE: My CPU and GPU plot time tests (based on 5TB drive)posted in Mining & Plotting
@Vneck I find it a little strange it's taking you that long to plot a 5TB HDD with your cpu. I used my i3-6100 to plot 4 and 5TB external HDDs (seagate/WD) using the aio wallet cpu plotter (AVX) with 3 of 4 threads, using the default 4gb of ram, and I was plotting in 2-3 days - 5 days sounds like a lot. I'm pretty new to burstcoin as well but I figured i'd just chime in and share my experiences. Not sure if 5 days is typical for the rest of you.

RE: [ANN] CCMINER1000posted in Asset Exchange
@ccminer what kind of issues were you having? By the way, the double payment was a nice bonus but the original payment was only about 1/3 the typical payment we have been getting recently so even with the bonus payment, we are well below what we have been achieving in the past - just an unlucky day I guess?

RE: [ANN] CCMINER1000posted in Asset Exchange
@ccminer just curious, what's this new CCMINER NEW wallet? New mining address or just new wallet?

RE: IceBurst Mining Asset - Statusposted in Asset Exchange
@IceBurst although I am not an investor in your asset, I saw your post and was extremely touched and inspired. Cancer, Alzheimer's, etc. have really affected my family as well so I started folding on my PC too - almost at 2M points now after a week! Never heard of this before, which is a shame, but thank you so much for bringing this to the Burst community. Might as well put that GPU to use when we're waiting for the next block:)

RE: The SurfBar.posted in Announcements
@vExact No problem, I'm sure it's probably fine. I just got a little paranoid after triggering that anti-phishing thing while using safepay. Hopefully it gets resolved on its own - nothing related to burstcoin. Thanks anyways!
