I have a new error.
A nonce is found, sent by my machine, thenit gets submitted to the pool. It does not get accepted by the pool, however.
Instead, I get this error.
Error: Woah there! At least give me a couple of seconds to service other miners!
I am using creepMiner 1.6.0 on linux.
My pool is http://all.poolofd32th.club:8124
What does this mean?
Could this be a response to Pajeet/Google's shenannigans?
I wish to forward two computers to my main computer using creepMiner on Linux, but am having difficulty.
I'm using creepMiner 1.5.2 and no matter how I set the configuration files, nonces do not get submitted or accepted on the main machine. I have also tried creepMIner 1.6.0 with the same results.
I do get an error:
tbarmike: could not submit nonce! network issues? (deadline)
From what I understand, I set the host serverURL to an unused local ip.
I set the client submissionURL to the host serverURL, and the client mininginfoURL to the pool ip
e.g.
host
client
Are these settings correct?
Is this possibly a router configuration problem, or maybe a networking configuration problem on the machines themselves?
Any advice or suggestions would be most welcome.
Thank you haitch.
Replotting with the same plotter got the same error.
Using a different plotter, however seems to have worked. I dont get this error with mdcct.
Now for the fun task of replotting the rest of my plots :)
It's good to know that permissions can be changed, as that me to plot on one machine and move to another.
Hi everyone,
I just joined my first pool, and encountered an error.
About half of the found nonces give an error stating that the deadline is too long (on the scale of hundreds of thousands of years). This is the case for all of my plots.
I used mjminer to plot, and am using creepMiner to mine.
After plotting, I changed the ownership and permissions of each plot. Could this cause problems?
What's odd is that when I first began, I tried solo mining and did not get this error. Could there be a configuration mistake, or perhaps a clock synchronization problem?
Hi Everyone,
I would like to say I am excited to join this forum. I have been exploring this forum and reading this past week. The information stored here has been extremely helpful.
I would like to thank those who contribute, both those who ask questions and those who answer.
Furthermore the tutorials are also great.
I think I'm mostly prepared to begin now. I found all my unused space, plotted it and configured the miner.
All I need now is to wait for the forum faucet to come back online, so I can set my reward assignment (and pick an appropriate pool).
I am looking forward to reading more here, and learning more about the underlying technology.
This also seems like a great way to persuade my wife that we should buy more components.
Best of luck to all
Have a great day
