RE: Just experienced my first real censorship in crypto...posted in General Discussion
For so long I tried so hard to be polite, but guys .. if I have to be honest... I mined and still mining Burst for quite some time already and with the first appearance of Burstnation I thought ...wtf ....we have already a nice community here, a lot of nice people and everything is working great, why there is a second "official" community I mean what the hell is going on here?!
Then ... I saw "Adam Guerbuez" and I thought wait a minute..who is this guy...I've heard something about him but I can't remember...so...after 5 minutes of youtube search I found who actually is he...and then I thought Ok ... such a nice idea...I mean ...the whole Burstcoin idea is awesome with a lot of potential, but come on...does we really need this spammer to decrease the nice value of the coin to kind of promoting tool for his retard casino?!Because basically (correct me if I'm wrong) every fucking word after Burst is ...CASINO, easy money, hey ...look at me I'm rich because I play in my casino! BURSTCASINO GUYS it is so easy to make money ...what a bullshit ... by doing this he is actually screaming - HEY all smart people out there...go away from BURST it is a scam coin, which is actually not! Burst is great...but this god damn spammer is ruining everything that I liked - nice coin, with smart people and what is not every day seen - a lot of nice guys ready to help for free basically...Excuse me If I made a lot of mistakes, english is not my native language ...and I hope that I won't get banned for being honest.

@luxe thank you for the great answer. Everything was working fine until suddenly I saw that there is an error msg.

What I've did wrong? Overlapposted in Mining & Plotting
Guys, I'm still plotting 8TB more but when I tested with the jminer to add the drive (because I've already did that with other drives while plotting) it says:
2017-01-30 23:51:01.125 ERROR 4204 --- [ readerPool-5] burstcoin.jminer.core.reader.Reader :
Error: ReaderPartLoadedEvent for unknown chunkPartStartNonce: '0'! Please check for plot-file duplicate or overlapping plots e.g. use https://bchain.info/BURST/tools/overlapI tried the tool and it says that everything is Ok. What I've found is that two of my plots have the same 0 in the middle :

9789164658098884194_0_30521728_30521728I'm plotting with xplotter...the bad news is that I'm already at ~ 73 % (which is 1 week of plotting.... :( )
Any advice?
Thanks guys.

@Tate-A Are you joking? What kind of PCs are that?

Heavily investing on HDD or building a gpu mining rig?posted in System Builds and other hardware stuff.
Guys, besides the fact that I ask this kind of a question on Burst forum, I think that here the people are way more gentle, and probably I would get a better answer...
Currently I'm mining with 24.5 TB, and I doubt if I should invest ~ 1500 Euros more on HDD or building a mining rig ( and ofc attach the HDD on it and not on my laptop), what would you say?Thank you.

chunkPartNonces Jminerposted in Mining & Plotting
Hello guys, I'm really in trouble with this part of Jminer settings.
My configuration is: Notebook HP Pavilion G6 with i7 3632QM CPU, 16GB Ram, Radeon HD 7670M (2GB Memory) and 3x8 TB External hard drives (using USB 3.0) and I'm using Jminer.
The question is... how much chunkpartnonces should I give at the jminer settings?I've experimented a lot, but it is not easy to give a straight answer, and I really would appreciate your opinion on this.I read all, that I could possibly find regarding my question, but I'm still a little bit confused.
Thanks guys.

@A2Z_Crypto
It could be worse... 7.5 TB plot with i7 3632QM ... 4 days already and we are at 50% ...and to be even more interesting I have 7.5TB to plot after this...soo... yeah :)
