So i was wondering if the WD easystore is a good deal. It's 180 USD which works out to roughly 23 USD per terabyte. Not sure how fast the drive itself is. Should I buy these or should I go for something like LaCie or Toshiba drives which I think have a faster RPM but are more per terabyte? Oh also if you could tell me the RPM of the easystore that would be great because I can't find it anywhere

@sevencardz Yeah I see what your saying with the 1700 it's a way better deal when you could just overclock it to 4ghz. My bad I thought it was only 4 cores

@sevencardz If Jminer scans your hard drives so much quicker why do the majority of people still stick to Blagos? Do they use their GPU strictly for plotting and CPU for scanning? Like if I look in the pools majority is Blago

@sevencardz the 1700 has 4 cores and 8 threads and the 1800x has 8 cores and 16 threads wouldn't it be almost twice as much performance because you have twice as many cores and threads?

@batonkill What do you think the nonces per minute would be on a ryzen 7 1800x

@haitch The amd one has 16 threads and 8 cores. Would that be a very noticeable difference like 50% faster scanning of my externals. Also the intel 4 core is $150 dollars cheaper

Best CPU and GPU for mining/plottingposted in General Discussion
So I recently started buying components for my new pc which will be used for gaming and burstcoin mining and i stumbled across two different CPUs the i7 7700 that runs at 5 gighertz 4 cores and the ryzen 7 1800x that runs at 3.9 gigahertz but has 8 cores. Both are extremely close in gaming but I'm not too sure in Burstmining. Intel is also much easier to over clock which could help. Also what's the best GPU for burst too I'm looking at a gtx 1070 or are Radeon cards better? I can really afford the $1500 titan right now.
