@schnebi hmm.. I tried it with the proxy thing... But i encountered, that even with solo mining my wallet confirms much to high deadlines to the miners..... Don't know why this happens...

@gpedro The blago-miner-proxy thing is a good idea I will try this out.
Because of the pool being abolutely private: If I don't share the ip with anyone. How should anyone find out, that there is a pool running. Of course you could do port scanning. But I don't think this will happen

RE: Is there a solo mining pool somewhere?posted in Mining & Plotting
I have several miners and want to solo mine with all of them. But I have to connect them to the wallet or to the pool i want to setup via internet. Solo Mining directly to the wallet only works, when I am mining with the same pc the wallet is installed to. All the other miners can't establish a connection to the pc with the wallet over the internet. I already changed the configuration of the wallet to accept connections from everywhere but it isn't working..

I would.... But I am always failing in setting up lex Pool.. Everything works, excep, that the pool confirms much to high deadlines back to the miners... Nobody could help me with this by now...

RE: trying to solo mineposted in Mining & Plotting
For me it works as long as i am mining with the same pc my wallet is installed to... But it isn't working as soon as I try to mine and connect to the pc with the wallet via Internet... Anyone know why? I already edited the config files of the wallet and allowed connection from everywhere...

Is there a solo mining pool somewhere?posted in Mining & Plotting
Hi, does anyone know if there is a solo mining pool somwhere? So a pool who pays out the whole amount of the block to the one miner who found the block. There are those pools with other currencies... I know it sounds useless. But for me it would be useful

RE: Pool mining is very uneffective for me....posted in Mining & Plotting
@RichBC I thought about this too.... But if this is really the solution than I think it's a failure in the algorithms of the pool, because why should I gain less with a longer read time even If I achieve much more for the pool than I get....
So I think its time to switch to solo mining for me....

RE: Pool mining is very uneffective for me....posted in Mining & Plotting
@RichBC Yes, about 200TB... And I need about 2 minutes to read the entire plots... I know thats very long. But is that really making any difference? I mean: If I would have mined solo from the beginning I would have found exactly the same amount of blocks as I did now.... But the difference would be that I would have gotten the whole amount... At the moment I am feeding the other miners on my pool....
-
RE: Pool mining is very uneffective for me....posted in Mining & Plotting
I know that solo should be more profitable than pool on the long run. But as RichBC said: It just should be the 2% pool fee and not about 25%..... And it's not for one day, but for over a month now...
You can see it if you compare the blocks I found : 119 (275,004 Burst) with the money i got from the pool till now: 229,735 Burst

Pool mining is very uneffective for me....posted in Mining & Plotting
So, I am mining burst for about one and a half month and I am only pool mining since then. And until now pool mining is about 25% less effetive than solo mining would have been. Check my stats:
http://burstcoin.biz/address/12446025604899037236
There is not a single day where I wouldn't have earned much more if I mined solo....
How could that be? Shouldn't the propabilitys be equal with pool or solo mining?

RE: Will someone set up a privat Pool for Me?posted in Help & Support
I know there is no gain. As i said: i just want to use The better statistic possibilities of the Pool.... So logging in the Pool in the Browser and see My results for the Last Blocks e.g.

Will someone set up a privat Pool for Me?posted in Help & Support
I want to mine solo. But i want to make it through a private Pool because of having better statistic possibilities. I just don't get it to setup a Pool.... Something always goes wrong. Would someone setup a Pool for me if i give you The Login credentials to a freshly installed Windows Server? A little payment would be possible :)

RE: Lex Pool (A rewritten pool based on uray source)posted in Burst Software
When runnning the pool I have the problem, that it confirms much too high deadlines to my miner... So the miner send a deadline of about 1 day and the pool confirms 1000 years.....
Any idea what could be the problem?

I pay you for creating plot files for meposted in Marketplace
Yes you are right.... I will pay you if you create plot files for me.
I have so many old HDD lying at home (~200 TB) but with my PC it would take years to plot all of them. SO heres the deal:
You will plot Files for me for my burstcoin adress and I pay you $1 per TB you are plotting. You have to upload them to my google drive account so I can downlaod them from there.
Anybody interested in this deal??

RE: Plotting with very low ram (128 MB)posted in Help & Support
@Dario's-wallet The PC I am using to mine these 400 stagger plots is a fast i5 PC with enogh ram....
Mining plots that are made with a different pc with more ram is no problem... only these with the low stagger

RE: Plotting with very low ram (128 MB)posted in Help & Support
@daWallet thanks for your answer. But again the question: Can I make the optimazation on the same PC with 128MB RAM or would that make no difference to the unoptimized file?

RE: Plotting with very low ram (128 MB)posted in Help & Support
@Gibsalot I know ;)
But If you have like lets say 500 of tose low ram pc's you could do something with it ;)
