Best thing for experienced user is to grab the hotfix from fuseburst - the limit unconfirmed TX branch - compile it and use the config from my repo.
Don't use the 1.2.9b from two days ago anymore ...
Thanks! Just installed this according to your instructions on a Linux VPS and made a SSH tunnel to localhost for wallet login so I guess this makes me an advanced user :-)
The wallet say it is on NRS version 1.2.8. Is this correct? I thought it would be a newer version than 1.2.9b? Anyway I just have to wait for the blockchain download and see if it will get in sync eventually.
I am quite new to burst and just got started mining when all this trouble happened. I want to help make things working again but everything I try seems to break. Somebody said we need miners to support the block chain but then I was suddenly mining a forked block chain which made everything worse I guess. Stopped mining and tried to download a synced wallet db but then someone said it might be people trying to make a certain fork of the new blockchain stronger for their own purposes by offering downloads of their preferred fork of blockchain. OK then I tried the 1.2.9.b wallet in order to sync from genesis block but then someone said stop doing that you are DDOSing the pools when trying to syncing the blockchains...
I guess nobody can be trusted anymore? Is it better just doing nothing at all and wait for things to solve by itself? Or maybe what I heard was just the bad guys trying to make things worse? Where do I find the good guys?
I guess having a local wallet running could help the burst network if it works correctly and gets synced on the right blockchain? This is what I am trying to do now. I would love to be mining also but not if it make things worse. At the moment I don't care if I get any rewards, just want a stable coin in the future I can use for mining with my hard drives. If mining helps I will do it. Maybe solo mining is what I should try? The pools does not seam to work anyway.
