@daWallet @haitch thanks guys. I trust Burst, so I just turned my AV off and installed. Also, the new update to both the wallet and the miner is great! I now get 300mb/s (up from 200) with less CPU % and not more ghost blocks. Great work you guys are doing!

RE: This is extremely strange... (AIO wallet issue)posted in Help & Support
I think I found the issue. It's getting blocked by my antivirus. This pops up after I attempt to install and the file disapears:
Stupid as hell that there's no warning or anything.
Now I guess my question is: Why is this now being blocked when it downloaded and installed fine a month ago?
Thanks for any help.

This is extremely strange... (AIO wallet issue)posted in Help & Support
So I'm trying to update my AIO Wallet (the official one by daWallet) to 0.3.9.6 to get the new version of jminer since I keep getting ghost blocks and it keeps going backwards and re-scanning old blocks and it's just a mess right now.
When I try to download the new wallet from any official source on my mining computer (Windows 10) I get "Error - Network Failure" right at the end of the download; happens with any mirror. So, then I try and download it on my laptop which works without issues. I can transfer the .exe file to my mining computer (did via cloud and flashdrive), but when I attempt to run it (even "As Administrator") I get a window pop-up that says "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item." And then here's the strangest part: The .exe file deletes itself!
Could anyone explain what the heck is going on here? I ran virus scans and they pulled up nothing. I'm so confused...

RE: Local Disk is Low on Spaceposted in Mining & Plotting
I assume your drive is filled with plots for mining. So of course it's going to be "Running low on space"; that's the point. I get this notification on Win 10 every time I restart my computer. Just click the notification, let it bring up the window asking to clear disk, clear cache, etc. except don't do any of that. Simply click "Okay" and then that notification will not pop up until next time you restart your PC. Rinse and repeat.
Hope this helps.

@Lexicon That must be tough! For the record, when I got my first ~60 burst from the first pool I was in before finding yours, I threw it all into your asset :) I'll stick here for a while and reach out with any serious future issues. Thank you for the lesson.
@TexasHuck Wow! You didn't need to do that man! That's more than I had pending lol. But, I know the gesture and am very familiar with it so what I'll do is pass it on! I'll be a faucet for getting my friends into it. Thank you very much Huck!

@tross @Lexicon @TexasHuck I apologize for my ignorance. I've switched back to Lex, thus I missed a few blocks and potentially lost whatever I had. I read around a bunch and you all seem great. Thank you for your help and I'll be sure to search around for these announcements more in the future (I was just checking these pool and mining related forums). Thank you for your time and have a great day or night :)

@Lexicon Dangit. I literally just switched a block ago... I only had 16 pending which Marc made up for. I had lost 160 or so in that apparent attack. Is there anything I can do now, or shall I just accept my own ignorant mistake? (Which is np, live and learn)

@manfromafar Okay, I'll try http://burstneon.ddns.net/ for now and join yours after I'm all plotted. @Marc was kind enough to send me some burst to swap. Thank you Marc and everyone!

@manfromafar I have 4TB plotting right now. So soon I'll be at 5.5TB total. Do you think that's enough for it?

BURST-ZGNC-B8CR-97QW-BREQA is my wallet. Thank you sir. Do you have any suggested pools? Research points me to these two: http://burstneon.ddns.net/ & http://poolofd32th.club/

Pending payment at burst.lexitoshi.uk disappearedposted in Mining & Plotting
Hello,
I'm quite new to this and have been mining with 1-2TB for the last week in the burst.lexitoshi.uk. Naturally, being excited about my new found interest, I was looking at the Pending payments on the pool with my Ctrl + F macro to search "ZGNC-B8CR-97QW-BREQA" every couple of hours. On the morning of May 24th I was almost at 160 burst and really excited to hit that 250 for my first real payout. Later in the day, I checked and my pending payment was gone. I was back to 0.16. And it wasn't just me, but everyone was suddenly back to low numbers. I waited a day to see if it got fixed, but no I'm just at 16 burst now.
Is this the same issue with some of the other threads I see about payment problems?
I almost had about 5 friends join in the mining fun, but now they are very reluctant :( I shouldn't have told them of this...I would try and switch pools, but I only have 1 burst left and then I'll have wasted several days mining.
If anyone knows if this is something I need to fix on my end, please share. Thank you for your time.
Edit (for a TL;DR to anyone new reading): I was naive and ignorant and should have reached out to Lex directly. This issue was caused by some recent attacks and Lex is in the process of fixing it. Thus, my issue is resolved and I'm continuing to mine on @Lexicon's pool.
