@AngryChicken I want to take the time to thank you for alerting the community of this. Randomly coming across a post like this gives me a whole new respect for the community. There was nothing obligating you to post this to warn the rest of us but you did. I applaud you for that. I honestly believe if everyone realizes the power we have as individuals, we can make a collaborative effort to make BURST as prolific in use as Bitcoin.

@iKnow0 Thank you for the resource. I'm going to go through the listings one by one to see which ones are still listed, and to add pictures relating to the postings. This will more than double the amount of information I now have online. I'm hoping the information reposted will help everyone in the community.

@iKnow0 I would need some help getting listings for the site. The only way I can think of this now is to either ask people. Or go down the list of addresses on burstcoin.biz and type it in the marketplace to see if the associated wallets have items listed. The second option is too time consuming to be a viable solution. I would be open to any suggestions.

RE: TO A DAY WHERE 1 BURST = THE PRICE OF GOLD IN USDposted in General Discussion
Thank you all who replied and participated in the discussion. I've read all your comments and come to a conclusion. My conclusion is to drive up the BURST value to even $0.01 USD, there needs to be a series of assets and stores created that have a value that can translate to any currency. For example an asset that is based upon the value of a small fragrance boutique. This business would accept BURST along with the native currency. It's holdings (assets) would be redeemable for a good such as 10 holdings (assets) equal 1 bottle of perfume after a certain time frame. These are just some ideas that will hopefully give the community a starting point that causes a rise in the usage. We want to see a rise in usage because that benifits us all. The ones who start their ideas only need to remember the possiblilities of growth in 1, 5, or 10 years. Just look at Bitcoin? LITECOIN? MONERO? DOGECOIN? Why not BURST as well?

TO A DAY WHERE 1 BURST = THE PRICE OF GOLD IN USDposted in General Discussion
I've been studying the different factors that influence the value of a currency. Using Bitcoin as a model. I've found out some very interesting things. One of which is that Bitcoin started out very much like BURST coins' current value and status now. Perceived value is also a main factor in determining the value a person gives something. The more people that use it and see it, the more value it has and the more its widely accepted. For example. Once new sites sprung up that were accepting Bitcoin, the value went up. And the well known main stream sites started accepting it as a form of payment. The value again went up. Now it happens in reverse as well. If a big site like the previously well known mt. gox exchange fails, then the perceived value may fail as well. This results in a price crash which I'm sure those in the Bitcoin community are very familiar with. I have a vision where the value of BURST isn't based on percieved value as is the case with Bitcoin or any other currency. We must back BURST with businesses, services, and precious metals. Creating real businesses that accept BURST as a form of payment. And making sure that community of business owners is a tight knit one that is actively trying to directly or indirectly raise the value of BURST. Services must be offered with the end consumer in mind always. Some people in the world aren't always honest, so its up to those in the BURST community that provide services to do their best to be honest businessmen and women and make sure their peers do the same. One bad apple spoils the bunch. Finally Assets backed by precious metals are a MUST! The day where 1 burst is equal to 1 gram of gold, in USD, my job will be complete. Below is pasted a time line of the history of Bitcoin. Thank you all for reading. And as always any opinions and information posted in the comments below is greatly appreciated.

@daWallet Thank you for participating in my discussion. I see that you are an administrator and appreciate any and all posts that you take the time to contribute. I've been exploring the BURST community for the over a month now. And just browsing I noticed this lack of a way to list things in the marketplace publicly. I want to become more active in the community and eventually launch an asset. But thats off in the future for now. I currently am able to build a site from the ground up with the skills I posses to fill this gap. And in the process hopefully raise the value of BURST. Ive already started on a wordpress.com platform and any insight or things to add over time will be greatly appreciated.

Market Place Stores & Accound Id (burststores.wordpress.com) Newly Created 11/12/16 Accepting Listings FREE!!!!!posted in Marketplace
Hello all,
I am new to the Burst community. I am currently exploring mining and also the marketplace. The reason I am writing this is when trying to explore the different things offered on the market, there are no listings of individuals with items listed. You have to know an individual wallet address to type in to see a store. (listed items) I see a gap in here that needs to filled by some type of listing service that users can add their wallet address and also their items listed. I am in the process of brainstorming the best way to add this to the community, and would love to hear any ideas anyone has to add. I look forward to reading your replies.Newly Launched Listings www.burststores.wordpress.com
