@vExact Can't believe I forgot to check the antivirus haha. I checked everything else I could think of besides it. Sure enough turned it off for a second and the burst client installed perfectly. Also added it to the trusted list, and I have no problems starting it up now. Thanks you :)

RE: Burst Client for Windows v0.3.9 - All in One: Wallet, Plotting & Miningposted in Wallet
Hey guys I am getting this weird error when trying to install this on Windows 10. During installation it says that an error occurred when trying to rename a file in the destination directory. This happens twice. If skip the two files then I can not run the client GUI. I can run the .bat file and then connect to the local wallet using an internet browser. Any ideas on how to fix this?

RE: Questions & no Answersposted in Help & Support
I don't know the answers to all of your questions, but maybe I can help with some of them.
2.) I do not know what the nonces are made of. You are correct that you do not want to overlap the nonce numbers. Plotting nonces from 0-100 and nonces 50-150 is just wasting hard drive space. The network will only see you having nonces from 0-150. You do not need to create an offset between plots.
3.) It is not needed to continue nonce numbers, but I would advise it for organizational purposes. I do not know about plotting in "expert mode."
5.) Yes, you can plot on one computer using your burst address and a nonce range that was not used. Then you can mine on another computer if you choose. All that matters is using your burst address and a new nonce range.
6.) Disk plots are independent from mining pools, and from every other burst address except the one used when plotting. So for example your plot nonces from 0-100 are different than my nonces from 0-100.
7.) It seems like your setup is correct if you saw yourself in historic shares. Someone else might be able to confirm it better than me.
9.) You could potentially see payouts in a couple days. It depends on the pool. Some pools will payout after you get a couple hundred burst in the pool. Others will payout after a certain amount of time.
This is all to my understanding of Burst. Hopefully others can fill in the details, answer the questions I missed, and refine my answers if they are not perfectly accurate.
I hope this helps a little bit :)

RE: Delayed payout from pool.burstcoin.biz?posted in Help & Support
@haitch This is all way above my pay grade haha. All I can tell you is I hit a block, and I am used to the payout being around 1000 burst. Then when you said the payouts were good I only got the 235 like I said before. I was confused because the block chain explorer verified that I had gotten the block. Now I was also mining for most of the past 2 days. So the 235 would make sense for that, but the block payout was still a mystery to me.
Don't worry about the payout for me. One block is not that big of a deal. As long as you can verify that the pool is paying out properly that is the important thing. I was going to reinvest the payout into your asset asset anyways haha. But seriously thank you for looking into everything. I really appreciate it, and if you need anything else from my end just let me know :)

RE: Delayed payout from pool.burstcoin.biz?posted in Help & Support
@haitch So are all payments processed now? If so I feel like its missing a couple. I find it hard to believe that I hit a block with a 6 sec deadline plus 2 days of mining comes out to a payment of only 235 Burst.

I have the same exact issue. I hit block number 367263 over a day ago and still no payout. I told @haitch about it last night so I am sure he will fix everything soon :)

RE: Burst client and wallet.burst-team.us is down?posted in Help & Support
@haitch Do you know the status of pool.burstcoin.biz? I think there may be a problem with its payouts or the wallets. According to my wallet and the block explorer I got block number 367263 but I have not received any payouts yet. I hit the block almost a day ago now. If you could look into it I would appreciate it :)

RE: Wtf is going on with alle the pools. pool.burstmining.eu, burst.ninja, pool.burst-team.us all down?!posted in Mining & Plotting
I hope it is fixed soon. I was mining on pool.burstcoin.biz and my wallet says I hit a block about 10 hours ago. I still have not recieved any payment from the pool. I was going to use it to pick up some assets that seem cheap right now haha.

Burst team pool deadline question.posted in General Discussion
Recently I have noticed I am getting a lot of deadlines not being confirmed on this pool. I constantly have to restart my miner to give it another chance at confirming. I have actually missed a few blocks that I would have forged if my deadline was confirmed. Is this because of the many users that are on this pool at the same time? I have changed pools a couple of times, and I only seem to have this problem on the Burst team pool. Any answers would be appreciated :)

Turning Burst into Cashposted in General Discussion
I have realized that at some point I will want to get real money from burst. How would I go about doing that? I know I can go from burst to bitcoins on Poloniex, but I don't know where to go after that. What are some good websites that people have used and will recommend to go from btc to USD or PayPal deposit?

@Focus Awesome thanks for clarifying that. I definitely plan on buying more shares of this asset :)

RE: [ANN] New Asset BurstMCposted in Asset Exchange
@Focus So correct me if I'm wrong, but you will always distribute 40,000 to asset holders plus a percentage of what the asset makes during the two weeks?

RE: ADSactlyposted in Asset Exchange
I bought 200 shares yesterday thanks to the recommendation from @nameless. Bought another 200 shares today. I have high hopes for this asset :)
