Don't know if anybody posted this but a good read this morning. Seems there are traders exploring coins outside of BTC due to China tightening regulations. Anyhow, thought it was relavant to what we have started to see. I just wonder if people will find that burst is actually a decent coin to continue with.

gpu plotter slowing down every ~10% completedposted in Mining & Plotting
I have this issue where I can plot really fast for the first appox 10% typically occurring at about 9.74% going from 28,000 nonces down to 17,000 then eventually down to 7,000 where it typically stays until finished. Any thoughts on what is going on?

What do the values mean in a pool (new guy)posted in Mining & Plotting
OK so I am watching all the pool metrics and don't know what much of it means. Under historic shares I notice that for the reward column there is a value then the letter D then a plus sign + and then another value. Is the first value what you earned for the day and the second what you have earned overall? If there is a thread on how to understand this stuff just point the way.

@haitch That makes sense now. I was scratching my head trying to figure out how that is done.

@Gibsalot ahhhh I see.
One more question and I will leave y'all alone for the night. When plotting my additional Hard drives. Is it possible to copy plots over to fresh hard drives or do you have to create all new plots for each one?

Oh ok. Gotcha! Thanks! I went to the pool site just now and was wondering how is it possible that miners with lets say 15tb have higher reward values than somebody with 100tb capacity?

Thanks,
I currently have about 50tb I am about to use. I have plotted about 3.9tb of it right now just to see how this all works. I will try the other pool you suggested. Thanks for the advice.

Thanks for the reply. Everybody around here is so quick!
That's good to know. It hasn't been 24 hours and I may not have hit 300 burst yet. I just set the miner before I left for work today. Checked my wallet and didn't see any updates yet.
I am mining in the Burst-Team Pool --- Burst address is: BURST-DG38-4Z6P-G9SA-5A8RX (At least I think this is what you were asking for? If not, sorry for my noobness)

Noob to Burst: Where the burst coins at? :)posted in Help & Support
Hey there,
So I started mining finally today but noticed that with a full day of mining I have not seen my wallet update. I seem to be getting a lot of confirmed DLs. Does the wallet only update every so often or is something wrong?
Thanks!

RE: Noob to Burst need assistance with GPU plotterposted in Help & Support
@haitch Interesting. I am pretty novice when it comes to this stuff. Didn't know much about SMR Technology. Just finished up some reading on it. Are there non-smr drives you would suggest that are best for use in regards to being able to plot faster?

RE: Noob to Burst need assistance with GPU plotterposted in Help & Support
Ok first I would like to say thanks! I was able to get it working. The program now fires up and runs much faster than the painful 3,400 nonces per minute! It hit about 22,000 - 25,000 nonces per min now. However, It seems that it slows down substantially over time. Is there a reason for that. I tried to plot about 10gb as a test and it finished in about 3 minutes. I upped it to 2tb as another test and it got through maybe 100gb before the nonces per min slowed to about 5,500 - 6,500 per min. Is there anything I can do to get it to hold at the higher rates?

Noob to Burst need assistance with GPU plotterposted in Help & Support
I have alot of storage and was trying to figure out how to plot faster. I was trying to load the GPUminer but it isn't doing anything when I try to run the application. I click it and then nothing happens. Any thoughts?
