@haitch Its alright, I think everyone here would like to have accurate announcements instead of an inaccurate one and it would save yourself from angry people too if the numbers are not in our favour. Take your time.

Thanks a lot! So there will be an announcement on the dividends you received in a few days.

@haitch Would you mind if you release your total asset earnings every week so we can gauge our dividends even if there is no payout?

RE: What is the Cloud Mining Limiting Factorposted in Mining & Plotting
Google Drive has great bandwidth, I maxed out my 350mbit connection when uploading plots, so could NetDrive download speed be a bottleneck instead?

RE: What is the Cloud Mining Limiting Factorposted in Mining & Plotting
Thanks for all the replies. Since I have 350mbit up/down connection ideally (at 300mbps) I will take around 195 seconds to read 30TB of plots. So now I have a rough estimation of where to stop. Thanks for all your help

RE: What is the Cloud Mining Limiting Factorposted in Mining & Plotting
Are you sure I will have to download the whole plot? I think it is just the scoops for the 2TB because I have speeds of ~100mbps for half a second for each 50gb plot and obviously it cannot be downloaded that fast.

What is the Cloud Mining Limiting Factorposted in Mining & Plotting
Hi, may I know if the read speed is bottlenecked by my connection speed? Reading some topics it might seem like it, but I have 300mbit up/down connection and when I check task manager, it occasionally bursts to 100mbps and then drops to 0 bps and ramps up again. I have around 2TB on my Google Drive now (I have unlimited storage) and the 6 minute+ read speeds are really annoying. I hope to get at least 20TB of plots on Google Drive but looking at the read speeds I am not going to be able to make it.

Speeding up cloud miningposted in Mining & Plotting
It seems to take 5 minutes on more cloud mining on google drive once the total plots size there hits 1.5TB. I use netdrive 2 to mount google drive then mine with the wallet miner. I tried using visual subst to mount a google drive folder as another drive to speed up mining, but the new network drive is always disconnected so I cannot mine with more than one drive. Is there a way to speed up mining from Google Drive? I have all my plots optimized.
On a side note is unlimited Amazon Cloud Drive faster than Google Drive? If yes, I'll give it a go.

RE: 20GB plot vs bigger plot sizesposted in Mining & Plotting
I see. How many more GBs does anyone reckon I could upload onto my infinite storage Google Drive? Right now I have approximately 0.5TB uploaded on there and the reading time are already 50-100s with all optimized plot files (20GB size). Is there like a limit where it is not feasible to add more TBs (maybe when reading takes 300s or more)? I have a Gigabit fibre-optic internet connection so that should not be a problem on my side. Is there any way to read all the plot files at the same time? (I assume Google spreads all my data across many HDDs and not on a single one).

20GB plot vs bigger plot sizesposted in Mining & Plotting
Hello there, I am new to mining burstcoin. I was just wondering if 5 optimized plots of 20GB and an optimized plot of say, 100GB would have any difference in mining speed? I would love to know as I have an unlimited storage Google Drive and their hard disks have quite low read speeds so I'd like to maximize the amount of Burst I mine (Unless you could store 100TB in there and it still reads in time)
