RE: jminer: Unable to get mining info from walletposted in Mining & Plotting
@p0int_scale Thanks for responding. I have been experimenting with different miners at m.burst4all.com:8124. Yesterday went to http://localhost:8125 and entered my passphrase and the BURST ID for the pool. I have been using different miners, including jminer, at different times, all pointed at the same pool. I am fairly new to this so am trying to see what works best.

jminer: Unable to get mining info from walletposted in Mining & Plotting
@luxe I am seeing the following WARN message in my jminer log. Is this anything to be concerned about? Or can these be safely ignored? Thanks for all of your great work on this application for this community!

RE: Help with "Could not get mining infos" errors in creepMiner 1.5.2posted in Mining & Plotting
@Creepsky45 Unfortunately my log files are filled with these messages right now. Any suggestions? Should I turn up the level of debug in the miner.conf file?

Help with "Could not get mining infos" errors in creepMiner 1.5.2posted in Mining & Plotting
I am receiving the following error repeatedly in the logs for creepMiner. I am running the latest version (1.5.2) on Windows x64.
I'm not sure if this is an issue or not, as I am mining on m.burst4all.com and have been getting deadlines and earning burst, but I want to be sure everything is configured correctly.
I have not been paid yet today, so I'm not sure if that is related to this. I am still fairly new to all of this. Any help/advice is very appreciated!!

RE: tross Burstcoin Poolposted in Pool Announcements
@Daforce @tross Agree, why not pay out after 24h regardless of mined burst? That's one of the reasons I am currently not using your pool.

RE: creepMiner - C++ Burst Miner (based on Uray's Miner)posted in Miner
@Creepsky Hey I really like creepMiner so far. I'm wondering what "intensity" and "maxBufferSizeMB" should be set to? Should this be directly related to CPU cores and total RAM? I would like to tweak these values to whatever will give me the best performance. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks!

RE: Help or advice - GMI: get mining info failed: 10060posted in Mining & Plotting
@Blago Thanks, I appreciate you chiming in. As well (new to this) I discovered I was using an older version of the miner. After upgrading I am no longer seeing those messages.

When do pool payouts happen?posted in General Discussion
I am currently mining in m.burst4all.com (my ID is BURST-Y46R-AXNU-J97U-AAMZU) and have been earning some burst, but I'm not seeing it show up in my wallet. At what frequency does this get paid out? Does it happen as each block is completed, or is it a once a day or longer period? New to this, so still validating that my setup is correct. Thanks!

Help or advice - GMI: get mining info failed: 10060posted in Mining & Plotting
I am receiving the error 'GMI: get mining info failed: 10060' when using the Blago miner. I am connected to m.burst4all.com, and my ID is BURST-Y46R-AXNU-J97U-AAMZU. As far as I can tell I have everything set up correctly in the config file, yet this error persists, and it doesn't appear (maybe I'm wrong) that my miner is actually doing any useful work. Is this some kind of a config problem, or is there some other issue here that maybe I'm not aware of? (I"m pretty new to this). Thanks in advance.

On a fork?posted in Mining & Plotting
I am mining using the miner in the AIO client. Every time I log into my online wallet to see how things are going, I get the message 'Warning: You are likely on a fork. You have forged the last 10 blocks.'. This apparently means I am not actually doing any mining. I was getting these messages earlier today and tried to repair my database. I ended up downloading a new copy of the blockchain, however after loading the new blockchain and restarting, the messages persist. Can anyone advise how to fix this?
