@falconCoin fair enough. I'd be interested in letting my coin sit there for a while and earn me a little interest :)

So if I'm understanding correctly we can't deposit into that account as an "investment" but have to earn there first and leave our balance?
What is the amount of time before we start earning?

Just when I thought this couldn't get any more out of hand.... My guess is this is how he "acquired" all of his facebook profiles to spam his ad links with before he got busted by facebook....
Also amazes me how many people are drinking his kool-aid blindly... Are there really that many people that completely lack common sense when pennies are being thrown at them? Seriously, for those reading... just watch some of his older youtube videos and see how delusional this guy is...

It takes some time, I've been able to do about $1/day or a little more if I roll the dice some. I also leave it running while I'm at work and can't monitor it all day for freezing/refreshes etc. If you can tend to it a little more you might be able to get $1.50 or $2/day.

RE: Burstnation & Network situation & Local Walletsposted in General Discussion
Apparently now he feels he is "MisterMidas" as well... "everything I do since day one cause burst to grow in value".... how is anything he has done caused it to grow in value? Showed 'get rich quick kiddies' how to gamble on dice? Don't see the connection, but I bet he got a lot of affiliates....
I think he meant to say "everything I have done surrounding burst has put a little bit of extra money in my pocket from idiots who follow me hoping I shower them with few pennies a day"

Wish I could have seen it. I'm sure mine will have the same fate.

@tomahawkeer That video was pointless... but you're right, I'm over it as well. He is probably one of the worst things to happen to this coin and its unfortunate...

RE: Burstnation & Network situation & Local Walletsposted in General Discussion
Exactly, he is only "affiliate marketing" until this opportunity dries up and he will move onto the next...
If he really wanted to attempt to fix this, he could maybe offer "rain" to people that set up multiple nodes to help ease the congestion? He could use that money he is throwing around to purchase hundreds of raspi's and set up the nodes himself?
In the end the only thing he is able to see is the money falling into his pockets...

RE: Burstnation & Network situation & Local Walletsposted in General Discussion
At this point he is well aware of his actions and has crossed the line... He needs to work towards finding a solution rather than trying to bring more traffic to his copy/paste site.
I compare this to a white hat vs black hat "hacker".... A white hat will attempt to break something and once there is a realization that something has happened he will stop his actions, find a fix and have it applied. Black hat will find a way to break it and then abuse the flaw....
It's not hard to figure out what type of person he is just by checking out his YT channel... After all, he was sued to the tune of $873 million for hacking and spamming FB accounts and acted like he was just your average affiliate marketer... Old habits die hard....

This may be ignorance on my level, but how does him sending coins to users help his pools profit? I would think that if it is clogging the network it would have the same effect on any pool?
Just trying to get a more clear picture for myself since I don't know that much about the inner workings of crypto.

I'm not sure about the game thing, I know when I bring another tab to the front I get the notification that earnings have stopped

RE: [HOWTO] EARN.GGposted in Off Topic
I imagine it will work, I've been meaning to try it but will have to wait until I'm done moving.

RE: [HOWTO] EARN.GGposted in Off Topic
I posted this same method a while ago and it has been a good one.
I got tired of messing with the script and the random freezing of videos etc and found another way, but it requires you to have the ad up the entire time (not doing other things on the computer) for me this isn't an issues since I have spare computers.
Choose "Earn" at the top
Select "OfferToro" in the list of ad networks
Choose the "Video Lab" hit. Pays 891 coins every 15 ads.
Let this run, it sometimes runs out of ads, but if you leave it up as soon as a new set is available it will auto start. This comes out to about 891 coins every 7-10 minutes.

RE: First Annual Node Driveposted in General Discussion
I run the local wallet all the time, and am open to running my Rasp pi once I get moved into my new house, but is there a good tutorial on how to set that up? Do I just use a linux distro, and then install the wallet for that?

RE: pool.ccminer.net:8080 new pool for big miners!!!posted in Pool Announcements
I'm guessing that is similar to the pool I'm in now? I've never really seen longer than 14 days appear on my deadlines?

I'm still pretty new to this so I don't know what that really means =\

How painful will it be if I'm not at that level and try mining there? I'll be short of 30 once I'm done with all these drives, but currently only at 11.5.
