Slow gpu plottingposted in Mining & Plotting
I'm trying to plot almost 15 TB worth of plots, but the gpu plotter doesn't go much higher than 4000 nonces/minute. I've already tried several ways of configuring the devices file and the .bat file, but it doesn't want to go higher. I'm using an 8GB sapphire rx470 nitro+.
I'm looking forward to your replies.

RE: USB 3 vs. USB 2posted in Mining & Plotting
@spread67 your external harddrives probably contain SATA harddrives. You could try to carefully dismantle you external harddrives and put them inside your pc and use the even faster SATA interface. I don't know if that extra speed will be worth it over usb 3.0 though. But if you want to use a faster interface, you could as well put m inside your PC.

RE: Jminer doesn't workposted in Mining & Plotting
thx, when I ran it in CMD it said "Error: This Java instance does not support a 64-bit JVM.
Please install the desired version.". Turns out I had 32bit version of java installed... Installed the 64 bit version of java manually and now it works! -
Jminer doesn't workposted in Mining & Plotting
Every time I try to use Jminer or the OpenCL miner that comes with the Burst Wallet, a window will open for a fraction of a second and close again. I've installed the openCL SDK from Nvidia. Maybe my PlatformId or DeviceId is wrong? How do I check this? Or is there a different problem?
Thanks in advance

RE: Choosing a Poolposted in Mining & Plotting
7HMW-8H5A-9BV5-7S7AK......3 days.....18.04.....5
I see this at all rounds at my Account Id. what do all those numbers mean. The 18.04 is total Burst earned so far, right? -
RE: Choosing a Poolposted in Mining & Plotting
ah yes, In burstpool.ddns.net it's every time you reach 100 or 24h after first burst earned. I'm currently mining there.

Thanks guys, I'm gonna try out tomahawkeer's pool and pool.burstcoin.biz. I'm wondering though how long it will take approximately until I'll receive some payout.

Choosing a Poolposted in Mining & Plotting
Hello everyone,
I'm really new to Burst.
I'm wondering what you have to look at when choosing a pool.
I have 934GB of plots on a separate partition on a 1.5TB internal SATA HDD. I believe it's a 5400rpm one.
I have an i7 2600 CPU, 8GB of ddr3 RAM and a GTX 550 Ti.
My internet speed is 150Mbps down and 15Mbps up and I live in the Netherlands.
I don't know if all of these specs are important when choosing a pool, but I would like ro know what to look at. Perhaps you could suggest a good pool for me?Thanks in advance.
