@Shoiji
I have the same issue today with burst-team.us using windows. I tried to move to this pool since the burst pool.burst.eu was not working. If I want to use btfg, is this the burst.btfg.space one on Windows?

@Energy Thanks. I saw 10+ confirmation on my wallet both times so I thought it would be safe. Is this not the same thing or do I need to wait for 4 blocks to be mined?

pool-burst.team.usposted in Mining & Plotting
for some reason i have tried 2x times on the Windows burst wallet to mine in the pool-burst.team us . I changed by assignment,paid the 1 coin then waited 30 minutes. When I start mining i receive an error saying that I needed to change my assignment and wait 16 minutes. Moreover I changed pools since my mining in the pool-burstcoin.eu no longer worked. Does anybody know if this pool is running. In addition, how can I choose a pool not listed in the Windows software?

@dbh said in error 1004:
RL5T-BGMP-A2E7-28BSG
I think it is me. My first wallet failed and I plotted under this number. I assumed that the plot would transfer to a new address when I finally go my wallet working. Is this assumption invalid? I guess i reformat the drive then replot?

RE: error 1004posted in Mining & Plotting
@p0int_scale
Thanks. I have tried 2 times on the Windows client. I changed to burstcoin.eu and noticed the transaction go through. I then waited for a good 20 minute then clicked on mining. I did see the long line of code go through and saw that the transaction occurred. I then received the same error again.[error 1004] Your Burst account's reward recipient RL5T-BGMP-A2E7-28BSG does not match pool account 722V-J9CF-NCW9-HWFRY. The transaction that went though (were it asked me to cut and past the address after hitting change) appeared in my transaction log.
now when i go to the pool that i clicked on in the Windows change screen I get
http://pool.burstcoin.eu/ BURST-7Z2V-J9CF-NCW9-HWFRY which is the good address but not sure why it copied RL5T-BGMP-A2E7-28BSG in the change screen. Is it possible I am trying to hook up to the wrong pool and there is a bug in the software, or is it a user error? Can I find out what pool i actually paid for ?
Do I need to continue to hit change and pay the 1 coin. Some generous person donated coins to me to help me get started.

Using the burst windows software i get error 1004
to paraphrase, it says your burst account does not match the pool account and that I need to change the reward assignment.Now I assume this is when i change pools. I selected pool.burst-team.us and filled in the set reward recipient but nothing happens. How do I know i have this correctly configured. Should I see the transaction in my wallet. I apologies, but once up to speed I will be here to help others. I had some issues setting up my wallet. Is it possible that I plotted a hard drive with a different wallet that I could not get working?
Thanks

I have the same issue. I used the faucet to create the account now I need one coin to select the mining pool. I am basically stuck also at one coin. How can you get the faucet to send you another coin?

Second Burst Coin to change the mining polposted in Mining & Plotting
Hello, after a few attempts with the Windows Wallet I have secured an account via sending a message back to the faucet ( My first attempt failed when I named my wallet). It appears that I now have a public key. When I went to try to mine I was asked to select a pool and this process cost one coin . I have tried to use the faucet to get another coin but was told to wait 2200 minutes. The first coin was used to send a message. I have plotted a hard drive on my first attempt with a different wallet that seems to have failed.
Here are my questions
- How do I get another coin without waiting? It appears this is to stop abuse which I totally support.
- If I changed the wallet do I need to replot the hard drive?
3)Where can I ask questions about mining on Linux. I used the Windows wallet on a new box but eventually I would like to have virtual Linux machines.
4)Plotting took a long time. How do people plot on a GPU? - On the Windows wallet how do I know the mining is working?. I change the pool from pool.burst- team.us to pool.burstcoin.eu and no longer get a message saying I need to select the mining pool ( which I needed the a burst coin to change). I don't want it to run for too long to realize it is not working.
Thanks
