I cleared the transaction with the API. I hadn't seen that in a long time then I mine a block my first in a week or so and get a rain transaction and a skipped block. Strange.

Here Comes the Rain Again!
I have a 1 Burst unconfirmed transaction in my wallet. It just has a / and sits there. Does anyone one else have this also? Do we go to Debug and clear this? It was right after I mined a block too. There is some kind of conspiracy lol
This is the address BURST-LF94-B5SR-7QZY-E6QCQ
I also noticed there was a skipped block on the pool I was mining on at 402470 and we found 402469 and I found 402471 all other blocks are listed but not 470. Very strange
RE: Mining Setbacks
@techhoss when you split the plots up across different computers they only report their specific size back. So when your 2.4TB gets a DL it will show that capacity on the pool page. When your 700GB computer finds a DL it will report that as the capacity and change every new DL. If you combine all of the drives on one computer, you get your Total for any DL. It is all the same capacity anyways though.
RE: Best value GPU for plotting
@Zyrem When you Optimize with a GPU it will start out very slow. Initially it shows you your real speed of Nonces per minute and then takes a dramatic dive. If you plot Buffered it will write to RAM and then to Drive and not do that.
Toward the end of Optimized plotting you will be using the full speed of the GPU. The other thing to remember is that you can only write so fast to the Drive.
GPU is meant really for multiple drive plotting from what I understand. It is the only way to really use the higher end cards.
I have a 6 Core that does about 14K per minute using 10 of the 12 Threads while I mine and write to the drive simultaneously. It buffers and Plots Optimized with XPlotter too. Soon as the drive Writes the next set of Buffered Nonces are about ready to write.
RE: HDD gap
It is more about the amount of Nonce not the Range of numbers the Nonce are plotted on. Not sure if that even has an effect really as the scoops are a bigger part of the calculation, and your ID is the main important number to get right other than not overlapping the plots.
RE: What's up with this sort of rivalry between burst-team and burstnation?
@Stephen BN used a Divide and Conquer strategy and maligned them as a split in the Dev group occurred. Just to watch it perpetuate as an AD Banner proves the point. BN Devs harassed them and strong armed the coin away from the other Devs and are continuing their barrage of insults. I don't know all the details but I am pretty sure that the flaws in Burst were allowed to stay and Crow didn't want to put his name on a flaw and left. Now that opens him up to slander.
