RE: 2TB Drive, only allows for 130gb at a time for plot writing?posted in General Discussion
@daWallet said in 2TB Drive, only allows for 130gb at a time for plot writing?:
@xaocs Hi, I found the change in the 0.3.9.1 version that caused it. Though I still don't understand why the function has been reacting this way. Thanks for reporting and not giving up. I repacked 0.3.9.1 and it should work now.
I will try this out later tomorrow after finishing the plots on this drive and report back on it. Thank you for heading this up and repacking 3.9.1 , that was quick!

@xaocs Upgrade to Windows 10. Plotting it's a nightmare with W7. Some memory issues.
I haven't run into any memory issues yet, it's been running at a solid 7gb of use out of 192gb of ram. I'll see what the output is on windows 10 later on after i test 3.9.1 again

I wanted to let everyone know that I think I figured out what it was.
I uninstalled Bursts Wallet version 3.9.1
after, I installed version 3.8.2
logged in to a wallet already made, and
started plotting the full 1.8 tbSo, it's something to do with Burst Wallet 3.9.1

Idea for Colocated mining setupposted in System Builds and other hardware stuff.
Let me start by saying, I work in a data center, with 190GB/s at the core.
I have a few poweredge 2950's (old I know), that I'm getting rid of to make room for 2 x dell storage arrays, and 1 x poweredge r710.
The entire purpose, is to mine burst with that equipment. I plan on getting around 344 TB of storage going, plotted, and mining.
It will take me a while to do the storage part, but I already have the equipment, except the harddrives. I have just over 50 TB of storage now, in varying drive sizes, and will make all of the drives 8tb drives once finished.
So far, I have:
1 x storage array
1 x r710 server
and the 50 tb of disk space, plotted, but re-plotting at the moment due to a mistake during my first setup. So my question is, to push this project along, do you guys think I should go with crowdfunding, and implement assets as well?
before you ask, yes, I can provide proof via pictures and videos if need be. We have a solid setup here in Dallas.

RE: 4TB Hdd & 2TB Hard Drives - Direct from Data Centerposted in Marketplace
@pr0cesor As long as you pay for the shipping to where you are, I'm okay with it.
I do have 1 x 4TB drives, and 5 x 1Tb Drives left.I have a bunch more in my office as well. I'm in Dallas, Texas, USA, in case you want to look up shipping cost.
