RE: Buying Magic Cardsposted in Marketplace
Wow, this topic got alot of attention. I actually buy magic card sets and other cards like pokemon and yugioh, and was thinking it would be really cool if I could buy some with crypto. I am pretty much going to be buying every card in existence,
So specifcally I would like to purchase sets of cards. If i was able to get the list of your cards I could give you a price, or if you just want to sell your cards in bulk, I can buy at a fixed rate.

Buying Magic Cardsposted in Marketplace
Hi Community, I am a burstcoin miner with 140tb on the network, and I was wondering if anyone would want to sell their magic cards in trade for burst, btc or paypal.
Im not sure how we would arrange the deal, but if you are interested, please message me and we can see what we're able to work out.

RE: If you have 20k to invest...posted in General Discussion
@burst1 With 20k you could get 2666 TB at $30 per tb. If you fully optimize your plotfiles, you could make 130k burst per day. At the current difficulty, it would take 6 months to make 25 million. But this is with current numbers, it will always change.
I prefer to buy mining hardware, because it removes the risk of losing significant funds by transfering my cash into a volitile currency. If I was going to invest 20k, I would still purchase some coins, maybe 5k worth, and spend the rest on mining equipment.
Thinking practically, I have a 140tb mining rig, and setting up all those drives takes months, not to mention the optimization process. I would think that it would take a long time to plot 2666TB. It would be necessary to purchase separate computers for GPU plotting and for the mining rigs.

RE: Error ReadFile while miningposted in Help & Support
I have a similar issue. I believe that one of your plots has an issue. Removing the current plot files and replacing them with new ones may fix the problem. I know it will take a while to re-plot, but that's part of burst. I have the same issue on my rig, the only difference is that it has 33 hard drives plugged into it, so it will be much more difficult to figure out.
From my experience so far, that error message is either a bad plot file, or a bad usb controller.

RE: New Miner Questionsposted in Mining & Plotting
@DougLife You can only plot multiple hard drives if you have multiple plotting devices (cpus or video cards).
Once you finish plotting with one drive, you can start mining with it immediately.
The nonce number is set automatically when you use the burst wallets plotting program. Generally I will only set this when using a gpu plotter.
You can do a transaction by setting your account name, which can be done by clicking your current name, and changing it. -

@crowetic It would be really cool if when you advertise for the coin that you also really let people know how energy efficient it is, the coin is a one of a kind.

@sleepy I've loved the burst concept since I first found out about it 6 months ago. It is my favorite of all coins. Hard drive mining is the best way to mine.

RE: Burst Bakery!posted in Marketplace
@Roses Yeah, I wouldn't listen to every piece of advice you are given. You should do it, its crypto so most of us don't have much use for illegitimate laws. If for some reason your bakery gets huge, then you can worry about the legality of it. Until then, have fun and let us enjoy your yummy goodies!

RE: Burst Bakery!posted in Marketplace
@Roses Oh yes, definetally. Homemade baked goods were my favorite item to buy with bitcoins the last time I was mining. Would love to spend some burst on goodies. Can't wait to see what you have to offer!

RE: My external HD can't be plotted in two minutes now, can it?posted in Mining & Plotting
@2nd4thdegree To change drive letters, go to search and type in diskmgmt.msc. from there, right click on your drives partition and click change drive letter and paths.
to open a command window, go to search and type in cmd.
on different versions of windows, there are places to type in searches and commands. windows ten has it on the task bar, windows 7 has it in the start menu, just look around the start menu or task bar and you will find it.

RE: New Burstcoin miner.posted in Introduce Yourself
@Alamodem Nice! If you start adding a lot of hard drives, you can do video card plotting which will make it so it takes less than a day to plot a 3tb

RE: How do i buy burst with USD?posted in HowTo's & Tutorials
go to coinbase.com and buy some bitcoins. Then send them to an exchange, bittrex.com or poloniex.com are my favorites. Once on the exchange, you can trade your bitcoins for burst.

No, you cannot continue from where you left off. You will have to start all over.
