now things are going much smoother and i have returned the burst i got... sadly the fee eat a lot

yep.... i got it all sorted... someone sent me a few bursts
but the AIO is still downloading blockchain even thou the sync % is at 100 and have been so for some time
Should i start from scratch with block chain?
also figured what to do when the bursts show up :-d
btw.... can jminer be configured for more than one device?
currently i have it set for GPU but what about both GPU and CPU.. ie at night when sleeping
i come from the distributed computing world where its perfecty ok to use small blocks of work as long you have a permanent connection to internet
it will just fetch work more often
so i also got jminer running... i have configured a wrong account num hence it would not touch my plot files
are there any downsides to using 2gb plots compared to 52gb ?
and what do i do once the burst are there ? sorry for being such a noob
dooooh..... haitch pointed out that i have used the wrong num account... not sure how i screwed that up
jminer is now running
now are there downsides to use small plots of say 2gb compared to 52gb ones?
oh well so i just farted the one burst away for nothing facepalm
2017-06-23 23:07:41.333 INFO 4312 --- [ roundPool-1] burstcoin.jminer.JMinerCommandLine : START block '374313', scoopNumber '98', capacity '0 GB'

also it does not list the plot files as i have told it to
tried that too
i even switched to jminer 0.4.8
plotPaths=C:\Jminer\plots2
scanPathsEveryRound=true
listPlotFiles=true
even if i use the AIO to run xplotter and move the plot file to the path set in jminer config it does still say the same... hmmm
i tried to make it list the plot files and it did not list any....
ahh.... i thought jminer would also do some plotting :-D
i guess this explains this:
2017-06-23 22:40:11.055 INFO 6556 --- [ roundPool-1] burstcoin.jminer.JMinerCommandLine : START block '374306', scoopNumber '3458', capacity '0 GB'

ie 0 GB
@vmantilla said in up and running but....:
optDevPool=false
that one is not there at all... ie i searched for optDevPool and DevPool
well one other issue i only just discovered... it does not generate any files in the plot directory
config: https://pastebin.com/vGDwsrQE
it does not create any files in the plot directory
by autoamtic i mean that i tell the AIO client to give you 2 burst once i have mined them
so i did go to ../rewardassignment.html and entered the passphrase... i then got a LOOOON number but i guess that is normal
thanks a lot.... will pay back as soon the first 2 are in
are there a system within the system that could handle this automatic?
just asking as i dont know much yet
