How long does the installation of the Linux wallet take ?
-
It's been running for 20 hours now and there hasn't been an update in the terminal for 18 hours.
-
after starting the wallet server with "sh run.sh" you have to open localhost:8125 in your browser.
-
I was running "run.sh" but it never stops, and when I try localhost:8125 it comes up with nothing.
-
@Koja
Can you post your output?maybe http://127.0.0.1:8125/index.html is working for you.
-
I tried the link and still nothing
What's my outcome ? (I'm sorry, I'm new to Ubuntu and Burstcoin)
-

In the guide, it says to click on run.sh, does it mean through the terminal ? When I click on it, it only opens the source code.
-
-
@daWallet And how long is this going to take ?
-
To download the full blockchain around 3 to 6 hours depending on your machine.
-
@daWallet I already got to this point (using a different method), and like I said in my first post, it took 2 hours to get to block 25000 but then it didn't do anything for the next 18 hours.
-
delete the files in your /burst_db folder.
Exract the downloaded file in your /burst_db folder.Start the Wallet.

It works ! I can acces http://localhost:8125/index.html .Thanks a lot @daWallet
In the terminal, the process is still going. Do I leave it running or do I close it ?
-
@Koja Leave it running.
-
@Koja The code running in your terminal is the 'Burst Server', once you stop it, you will not be able to access localhost:8125 anymore ...
-
@luxe On my machine the java process doesn't stop, when I close the terminal.
