New thstake asset!

  • That is a thought....

making another would mean either a complete new set of coins.......maybe a different box to run them on.....OR....

Add more assets to this one???

Adding assets may piss off people that want to sell shares atm though :-\

I will have to think about it.

If anybody has thoughts on this please share. In particular if you are a current asset holder.

  • I almost forgot. UPDATE:

A good amount of burst has been sold all between 49 and 54 sats across 2 exchanges (had issues getting deposits for c-cex) still have about 2.6 million to sell to exchange for other coins. The total asset was 15 million.

Diamond coin has been purchased, you can follow it with the above wallet blockchain link (initial post) I am planning on add more of it, however I am still in the process of selling burst and trying to get best prices out of it and adding other coins, however we have a decent amount of staking coins for every wallet listed above.

Over the weekened I am hoping to get the majority of the rest of the staking coins purchased, hopefully with good prices. Always trying to do best bang for buck on the exchanges.

As far as the comments above about making another staking asset, please give feedback. If you want me to do a completely separate one, or maybe just add more assets to the current? I am a little leary of doing that simply because the person who bought the majority of the shares has listed most of them for higher than initial price, and I wouldn't sell for any more than I did the initial 1 million shares which would undercut his prices. Anyway, let me know what you think.

  • A second separate asset seems fair.

  • @tomahawkeer the way I'm looking at it, adding assets doesn't seem to matter because revenue doesn't depends on how many assets are sold. If I buy one asset, then I would get back the equivalent of 1 asset converted into stake coins. If you added 9 other assets, I would still get my same revenue. There is no negative impact to the other asset holders whatsoever. Ask around. I hope some other people agree.

  • @ddos said in New thstake asset!:

There is no negative impact to the other asset holders whatsoever.

It would matter if your goal was to trade the actual assets and not just hold them for the dividends. More identical assets on the market = more difficult to get a good price for selling off the assets you already hold.

  • Agree with propogandalf, adding assets would not be fair towards asset holders and especially the big buyer, mind you, taking a big risk.
My advice would be to first get things running for this one before attracting new funds (seems like you first got some funds to spend), if things go well
the new asset would attract even more buyers due to people being convinced seeing the succes of this one. Why rush?

  • @BurgerBaron I agree with you. I would like to get this one a little more settled with the asset owners, as well as producing more dividends (obviously) before making any changes, or adding another new asset. I will need to do some research as well as far as other coins to try for another, once things are settled down a bit with this one. I do like the idea of staking assets obviously, just want to get some research for new coins if we want to pursue it further later on down the road.

  • Here is a thought:

What about making a new staking asset, new coins etc, however staggering the amount of assets released to it. Maybe only release 100k assets to start, and stagger more asset release for it, over the course of a pre-determined amount of time, maybe 50k assets every 2 weeks after that, or maybe 100k every 2 weeks, or something along those lines ?

I definitely don't want to do it right away, as I said earlier, I want to get this asset completely established, and make sure its giving good dividends before jumping head first into another.

  • @tomahawkeer Agree. Having a phased release and announcing when parts of the asset are going to be released will create a more fair game of buying shares when there is a lot of demand involved.

  • UPDATE:

We purchased more HYP (Hyperstake) 694,xxx was added to it's wallet. Still open orders to buy more. Final amount for this wallet, I am hoping will be around 3 million HYP.

Still open orders to sell BURST for exchange. Roughly 2.6 million burst still need exchanged across 2 exchanges.

We have open orders for BITB, just playing the waiting game. The total amount of this wallet (including my 3.4 million personal stash) should be around 15 million. This will also make it a top 20 wallet on the rich list!

HYPER, NET, OK and DMD don't currently have any opens yet, however there will be some smaller amounts added to them as well (about .5 BTC each) I haven't calculated how much they will be once we finish purchasing for them. HYP, BITB and DMD will hopefully be our best stakers, at least I believe they will be, so they will have more funds dedicated to them than the others.

  • UPDATE:

Hyperstake wallet is complete. The balance now contains 2.78xxx million coins. BTC value is about 1.44 BTC.

All coins I had on poloniex have been converted however there are still a good bit left on bittrex left to sell.

Buys are currently in place for the current coins. Once more burst sells, I may move some of the burst back to poloniex since its easier to sell them there. Should still have all wallets fully funded by tomorrow I believe.

  • UPDATE:

I was wrong about hyperstake, I will be adding more to it.

We have purchased a good bit of bitbeans, however still have some opens. Also still have some opens on netcoin, I do have some coins to transfer to the wallet, however I just upgraded it to the newest version so it is currently resyncing blockchain. OKcash is complete I wont be adding more to it anytime soon. DMD still have opens on it, will be transfering more over to the wallet soon.

Sorry for the shortish update, just been busy dealing with a few DNS crashes and email problems from the result of the DNS crashes. Will keep you up to date as I can!

  • @tomahawkeer Thanks for the updates. It reassures investors.

  • UPDATE:

Ok a bit more info here.

All wallets are now complete EXCEPT bitbeans and net. Still have over 1btc worth of coins out for bitb and about .31 for NET. If I can get them bought soon ill have to bite the bullet and just pay the higher prices.

Hyperstake is finished with over 2.24 BTC worth of coins (4.4 million hyp). I expect it to be our best money maker.

DMD is worth around 1 BTC, with over 2k coins total.

Hyper is worth around .54 btc with 304xx coins total

NET is worth around .22 btc now (not including the .31 still out) Currently have over 700k coins and will have well over 1 million when its all done.

Bitb is currently worth about .4 BTC, (5.3 million bitb) with another 1.2 BTC outstanding for purchases. We also have about an additional 3.4 million coins that I have loaned the project. Total amount in wallet is currently well over 8 million, with hopefully another 15 million still to come in from buys.

OK cash is worth about .81 BTC (199700 coins)
Total value of the assets (in BTC) as long as purchases go as planned, will be around 6.72 BTC (slightly higher than original predictions)

All wallets can be viewed above (in the initial post), with the exception of NET, they don't currently have a good blockchain explorer, however if I understand correctly one is in the works very soon.

If anyone has any questions let me know! Will post more updates as things change. Things will get boring once the buying is done, after that it was be all dividends lol!

  • UPDATE:

All wallets are complete with the exception of Bitbeans. We have about 1 bitcoin outstanding, trying to purchase, however in order to fill it we are going to lose about 15% of the coins I had originally projected us to get due to the increase in the price of the coin. I can either fill it 1 and 2 satoshi higher than what I had projected, or let it sit and try to get them at my original price. This is a difference of 12.5 million coins vs lower, possibly down as low as 10 million. Anybody have opinions on it ? Should I just buy them and get it over with, or let it sit and try to get a better price?

  • @tomahawkeer Be patient. If it hasn't gone through in a couple of days then bump it down 1 satoshi

  • @tomahawkeer I think regardeless the new asset you was talking about you could work without damage anyone that has already buy it, you could use it too for adding another coins to this, if you create another asset with a new batch of coins, and then when that asset has been all sold you close it and add the shareholders to this asset increasing the amount of shares in this asset, so this will be the sharks asset witch will collect from the stake of all coins and the other asset will just pay from the stakes of the coins related to them and when all has been sold they enter to the big asset...Just a thought!

  • @gpedro That is a thought, however I have no idea how to combine assets or close an asset. I actually created an asset before thstake, and I put incorrect text in the description, so I didnt use it and recreated it as thstake.

Anyway, I am thinking about this, I also have an idea for an alt coin trading asset including bot algo trading, as well as arbitrage trading between exchanges.

  • @tomahawkeer with the dividends script you can actually distibute assets shares. So you could create a new asset and then just distibute shares of that asset to the thstake holders and then just forget about thstake

  • @tomahawkeer what @stupendelious said and you can swap an asset for another... take a look in the dividends, i haven't tried but i think that what i said its possible to do with this functions, to close you could just ask people to send you the asset's back because that asset will not pay anymore...
