Android Development
-
Hey guys,
I started to develop a solution for Android Phones and Tablets; check my twitter for pictures. ARM Architecture and mobile operating systems are the future and we should be one step ahead of other coins. Burst’s efficiency fits perfectly for mobile devices. First release will have a passphrase save and load function and faucet. In later release there will be plotting and mining available for Android, so everybody in the world can be part of the network - mining Burst and use it.Burst mining favors small miners by design and keeps the networks truly decentralized.
To release ASAP the first version and get mining and plotting to work on android later I asked fellow developers to join and help me out - and for THEM is this Crowdfund. I'm stuck and with 2 other devs I know we can develop a solution a lot faster and better - and we get them on board for further projects!
Thank you for your support so far! Small contributions are welcome, too.
Update: Due to rise of Burst price we'll add more functions than planned to the Android App and Main Wallet:
- Mobile friendly version of Crowdfund.html is on the list
- Redesign of Crowdfund.html -> Possibility to hide certain Crowdfunds permanently; Possibility to hide all Crowdfunds from a certain address (-> against spam)
-
Thank you for this daWallet!

Only 900 Blocks to go. Now or never ;)
done - redesign of CF html
done - passphrase save / load
done - mobile friendly version of wallet

@daWallet what about a IOS App as i would be happy to Test any IOS Apps developed for BurstCoin
-
@all thanks for your support! It will be worth it.
@Njcfamily31907 ... First of all I don't have an iOS phone, nor I ever coded in that language. Also Appstore costs 100$ a year for developer and Apple doesn't like apps like ours. Trust me.

@daWallet ok

Some News:
Sadly I lost a lot of time because of a lazy (hired) developer doing nothing but claiming to make progress.
At least I haven't lost money on him. I have still 2 Mio Burst left of the CF to get things going. We have almost 300 active Android installs and it's bugging me that there has been no progress the last 2 months.
The plotting process is fully documented and mining is going to be on a "mobile friendly pool" that has to be created yet. Sadly another person who promised to help me out with the mobile friendly pool disappeared.
Focus the next weeks is get burstcoin.biz Charts , Surfbar and Faucet going. Also ironing out the worst bugs in the Win Client. Then I'll focus again on the Android plotting and mining.
As you see all of the Android code is available. If someone wants to help out - just tell me. :-)
