Some Questions About GPU Mining and Burst Mining on a rig

Yep, no problem to mine Burst and GPU mine, most of my rigs are doing it.
minimize the number of drives you have per hub, more than 2-3 drives and it becomes a bottleneck. For 16 drives - can you spread it out over multiple rigs, or find a way to free up one PCIe slot ?

So If I can Use GPU for mining, Why Stronger CPU is needed?!
Googled a little...changing motherboard. Asus Z270-A have 7 pcie + 2 m.2 so I can have 9 pcie and one for usb controller :)

@hrh_fourtyseven Given that you're using the GPU's for mining, I assumed you'd CPU plot the disks - therefore better CPU. If you're willing to stop mining on one of the GPU's, then you can use it for the plotting, and then when mining share time when the Burst miner needs it.

No problem for plotting...its ok...not longer than a week.
So if it is possible to use GPU for mining both at same time, no need to Stronger CPU. is it true?

using the gpu for both doesn't effect on burst reading time?!

If you're willing to GPU mine/plot, then no - suggested CPU is fine.

Combined GPU Coin/Burst Coin mining will be somewhat slower than just Burstcoin mining, but you can increase the priority of the Burst Miner, which will make it quicker.

So in conclusion:
If I want better Performance change my cpu's from 2x 3900 to for example 2x core i3 7100 or maybe 2x core i5 7400 and try CPU mining
And If I want cheaper Rig just use GPU MinerReally Thanks for your Help Bro

@hrh_fourtyseven No problem, but rig building comes down to your opinions, priorities and beliefs. Some people will put in a beefy CPU and CPU plot/mine, others will sacrifice a GPU for the plotting period. There is no exact answer, it's all down to personal choices.

My mobo has 1 usb 3.1 gen2 and 4 usb 3.1 gen1 (Normal usb 3) so dose it mean I have 2 usb controller on my mobo? if yes can I connect 4 HDD to USB 3 ports and a hub for usb 3.1 gen2 to connect the other 4 HDD's without sacrificing the speed?

Are you sure GPUs will draw all their power from the auxiliary power connector, only ?
Your m.2 ports will not deliver the 75W that are provided on "normal" PCIe slots.

So I can handle 8 HDD at least without any Pcie USB Controllers and I can use that extra PCIE for another gpu just for Burst Mining :)
