Blago's Burst-Miner (Win)

  • Mod

    @Burstde miner just show info (winner) from specified wallet (InfoAddr)

    0_1477595101929_1.JPG

    also I can't get info http://pool.burstcoin.de/burst?requestType=getMiningInfo at now

  • Mining hasn't been the same since my isp/router issue certain things don't work because of the re configuration of the router ip address. Strange as it sounds it wasn't simple as changing a number. This isp customized their routers that you have to buy.

    I did manage to catch that strange "invalid date" text show up.
    This happened on a pool startup and at 1:30 pm.

    @Blago You need to use the 6080 port

  • lol yea i just saw that he had no miner port and the other ports were still set to 8125

  • Mod

    @haitch thanks, found error

    @Njcfamily31907 you write everywhere "port", but need "UpdaterPort"

    {
    "Mode" : "pool",
    "Server" : "216.165.179.44",
    "Port" : 6080,

    "UpdaterAddr" : "216.165.179.44",
    "UpdaterPort": 6080,

    "InfoAddr" : "216.165.179.44",
    "InfoPort": 6080,

    "EnableProxy" : false,
    "ProxyPort" : 8126,

    "Paths":
    [
    "I:\\plots"
    ],
    "CacheSize" : 100000,
    "ShowMsg" : false,
    "ShowUpdates" : false,

    "Debug" : true,

    "SendBestOnly" : true,
    "TargetDeadline": 4000000,

    "UseFastRcv" : false,
    "SendInterval" : 100,
    "UpdateInterval" : 950,

    "UseLog" : true,
    "ShowWinner" : true,
    "UseBoost" : false,

    "WinSizeX" : 80,
    "WinSizeY" : 60
    }

    works

  • @Blago I have been running mining tests on multiple Pools and I get a number of "Not Confirmed", busy Pools worse than others. If I restart the miner the deadline is always confirmed as the Pool is then less busy.

    I know that a lot of the problem is my poor and variable internet connection, but I wondered if it would be possible to add a retry parameter? Perhaps just at the end of the scan for the best Deadline?

    Thanks

    Rich

  • admin

    @RichBC Good idea - I like it. @Blago - would it be possible to a resubmit of the best deadline the miner found if it hasn't been confirmed ?

  • Mod

    @haitch I will make it, but try confirm few times (miner can enter to endless cycle)

  • admin

    @Blago Retry limit parameter ?

  • @Blago I think a single retry would probably fix things for most people? But to make it safe & univerasl a parrameter for number of retries and retry delay would be perfect.

  • Hello every body

    I want to know with miner-burst I have to launch because there are different versus of software:

    miner-v1.160705
    miner-v1.160705_AVX
    miner-v1.160705_AVX_amd
    miner-v1.160705_AVX_i64

    I have a AMD Fx'tm)8350 Eight Core Processor with 16Go of RAM mémory installed and a windows 10 64 bits for 64bits core processsor.

    I do not know what to launch exactly.
    Thank you in advance for your answer and your participation

  • admin

    @Neo38 with an 8350 you can run miner-v1.160705_AVX_amd

  • Ok thanks Haitch

    Thanks for your reactivity

    And i have place this information on miner.conf

    {
    "Mode" : "pool",
    "Server" : "burst.ninja",
    "Port" : 8124,

    "UpdaterAddr" : "burst.ninja",
    "UpdaterPort" : 8124,

    "InfoAddr" : "burst.ninja",
    "InfoPort" : 8124,

    "EnableProxy" : false,
    "ProxyPort" : 8126,

    "Paths":
    [
    "D:\Burst\plots"
    ],
    "CacheSize" : 100000,
    "ShowMsg" : false,
    "ShowUpdates" : false,

    "Debug" : true,

    "SendBestOnly" : true,
    "TargetDeadline": 6048000,

    "UseFastRcv" : false,
    "SendInterval" : 100,
    "UpdateInterval" : 950,

    "UseLog" : true,
    "ShowWinner" : false,
    "UseBoost" : false,

    "WinSizeX" : 80,
    "WinSizeY" : 60
    }

    Is for you all is good level of parameters to mine on burst.ninja

    Thanks in avance

  • admin

    @Neo38 as long as you have you reward assignment set to burst.ninja, it's good. But how many TB do you have in your plot? Ninja has a short deadline limit - without a lot of TB you'll miss out on a lot of blocks.

  • I don't arrive to mine on burst.ninja for the moment.

    I have just 965Go but i will pass at 5TB tommorrow.

    It is normaly what is the short deadline limit, on this pool?

    With 5TB you advise me to undermine on which pool ?

    Soon
