The DDoS attacks are getting worse.

@falconCoin make it to rank 1 and see what happens. Every pool can be hit no matter the protection. If someone really wanted the could get around cloudflare too .
I find it ridicules everyday when the sun goes up in North America I can expect to have troubles. Funny thing is all those fine miners are not going where they expected. What are they going to do when they cant disrupt my pool? Are all the pools being hit or are there a few that are looked over.
-
@tross i hear ya... i am fine being where we are and growing nicely and i prefer to stick around 100-150 miners max
it amazes me why ppl want to mess around so stupidly.
-
@falconCoin same with http://pool.burstcoin.ro ... at some point I will close the gates to the new miners.
In the worst case scenario I will make a second pool on other server.
I don't want to have 1k miners that are miserable , better 300-400 happy fast pool miners.
So ... get your spot while is still available.
-
@FlippyCakes i agree ;-)
-
@Shadow yep i will be happy with a MAX of 150
everyone gets paid and is happy
-
can someone explain me how you can fight against such an DDOS attacks and is there a possibility to find these adresses/people who did/do that
-
@Hanftychoon you will never find them. They use exploits and broken services to hide. They basically don't do the attacks with their computers but exploit others computers that have no idea they are used for flood or ddos.
@Hanftychoon give it a try on the pool I am managing and decide yourself if you want to stay there or not. I suggest you try also the discord , maybe you will like what you will find there.

how can i for myself find out , that maybe my own computer is used for this shit ?
is there a software for detecting this ? do i see it in my home internet traffic ?
-
@Hanftychoon you would notice it if you looked on your traffic and outgoing connections but the thing is even if you are infected it can be dormant like only activated when need to all depends on the programming of it
-
@Hanftychoon Some antivirus software makers have rootkit removal software for free.
-
iam sorry but my english is too worse to understand that , can you explain that a little bit easier ?
-
For those that want to check, here are some links. I don't know how often they are updated...but doesn't hurt to check!

The ddos attacks have started again just as pool started to recover.
I look at the pools underneath and say its one of those pool operators. Why I get hit just as my pool does better.
I think I know who it is.
-
But if the attackers are reading the pool isnt down and is mining. Plus you forgot 1 connection to block lol

BURST-CTJW-E5HQ-METJ-7LL2V
tross Burstcoin poolWe won that block under attack! So attackers are wannabe bad guys! Need to learn better!
-
Also see an IP from California in the bay area lol I lived there in 1978. Looks like data center
-
Newbie from South Africa, mining on pool.burst-team.us. Network quality keeps dropping to 0 the past few days.
Any suggestion to fix it?
-
this is starting to piss me off - 110,000 simultaneous connections established to the firewall in less than 1 hour. There are going to be delays and outages until I find a way to block this sub-human's attack. Advance apologies, I'm working on it.
